__年7月13日，國(guó)際奧委會(huì)第112次全會(huì)在莫斯科舉行，時(shí)任中國(guó)奧委會(huì)名譽(yù)主席的何振梁在陳述會(huì)上動(dòng)情地講述了自己畢生對(duì)奧林匹克理想的追求和中國(guó)人民對(duì)奧運(yùn)會(huì)的期盼。

主席先生、國(guó)際奧委會(huì)的委員們：

1981年，當(dāng)我當(dāng)選為國(guó)際奧委會(huì)委員并莊嚴(yán)地宣誓—我愿意竭盡所能為奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)服務(wù)—的時(shí)候，我心中升起了一個(gè)愿望，就是看到奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)能在我的祖國(guó)—中國(guó)舉行。

我少年時(shí)，有過(guò)苦難的歲月。進(jìn)入青壯年后，經(jīng)歷過(guò)艱苦的磨煉，也享受過(guò)取得成就的歡樂(lè)。中年后，改革開(kāi)放迎來(lái)了祖國(guó)和我個(gè)人新的前景。

我們深信，奧運(yùn)會(huì)屬于所有國(guó)家，既屬于發(fā)達(dá)國(guó)家，也屬于發(fā)展中國(guó)家。把舉辦奧運(yùn)會(huì)的榮譽(yù)授予像中國(guó)這樣的發(fā)展中國(guó)家，既將為奧運(yùn)會(huì)開(kāi)辟新的地平線，也將推動(dòng)我們的發(fā)展進(jìn)程。

所有的申辦城市都同樣有能力辦好__年奧運(yùn)會(huì)。但是，如果這個(gè)榮譽(yù)授予北京，我們將竭盡全力，使奧林匹克理想以前所未有的規(guī)模得到傳播，并使奧林匹克主義的普遍性原則獲得充分的體現(xiàn)。我們大家將因此共同達(dá)到新的奧林匹克地平線。

將近50年前，我第一次參加了奧林匹克運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)，那是在赫爾辛基。從那時(shí)起我就深深地愛(ài)上了奧運(yùn)精神。和祖國(guó)的許多同胞一樣，我認(rèn)為奧林匹克價(jià)值理念具有普遍意義，奧林匹克圣火照亮著人類(lèi)前進(jìn)的道路。

我一直夢(mèng)想著將奧運(yùn)會(huì)帶來(lái)中國(guó)，讓我的男女同胞在我的祖國(guó)體驗(yàn)奧林匹克理想永恒的魅力。

mr. president, ladies and gentlemen,good afternoon!before i introduce our cultural programs, i want to tell you one thing first about . you're going to have a great time in beijing.china has its own sport legends. back to song dynasty, about the 11th century, people started to play a game called cuju, which is regarded as the origin of ancient football. the game was very popular and women were also participating. now, you will understand why our women football team is so good today.there are a lot more wonderful and e_citing things waiting for you in new beijing, a dynamic modern metropolis with 3,000 years of cultural treasures woven into the urban tapestry. along with the iconic imagery of the forbidden city, the temple of heaven and the great wall, the city offers an endless mi_ture of theatres, museums, discos, all kinds of restaurants and shopping malls that will amaze and delight you. but beyond that, it is a place of millions of friendly people who love to meet people from around the world. people of beijing believe that the olympic games in beijing will help to enhance the harmony between our culture and the diverse cultures of the world. their gratitude will pour out in open e_pressions of affection for you and the great movement that you guide. within our cultural programs, education and communication will receive the highest priority. we seek to create an intellectual and sporting legacy by broadening the understanding of the olympic ideals throughout the country. cultural events will unfold each year, from to . we will stage multi-disciplined cultural programs, such as concerts, e_hibitions, art competitions and camps which will involve young people from around the world. during the olympics, they will be staged in the olympic village and the city for the benefit of the athletes. our ceremonies will give china's greatest-and the world's greatest artists a stage for celebrating the common aspirations of humanity and the unique heritage of our culture and the olympic movement. with a concept inspired by the famed silk road, our torch relay will break new ground, traveling from olympia through some of the oldest civilizations known to man-greek, roman, egyptian, byzantine, mesopotamian, persian, arabian, indian and chinese. carrying the message 'share the peace, share the olympics,' the eternal flame will reach new heights as it crosses the himalayas over the world's highest summit - mount qomolangma, which is known to many of you as mt. everest. in china, the flame will pass through tibet, cross the yangtze and yellow rivers, travel the great wall and visit hong kong, macau, taiwan and the 56 ethnic communities who make up our society. on its journey, the flame will be seen by and inspire more human beings than any previous relay. i am afraid i can not present the whole picture of our cultural programs within such a short period of time. before i end, let me share with you one story. seven hundred years ago, amazed by his incredible deions of a far away land of great beauty.d by his incredible deio whether his stories about china were true.he answered: what i have told you was not even half of what i saw. actually, what we have shown you here today is only a fraction of beijing that awaits you. ladies and gentlemen, i believe that beijing will prove to be a land of wonders to athletes, spectators and the worldwide television audience alike. come and join us.thank you, mr. president. thank you all.

mr. president, ladies and gentlemen,good afternoon!before i introduce our cultural programs, i want to tell you one thing first about 2022. you're going to have a great time in beijing.china has its own sport legends. back to song dynasty, about the 11th century, people started to play a game called cuju, which is regarded as the origin of ancient football. the game was very popular and women were also participating. now, you will understand why our women football team is so good today.there are a lot more wonderful and e_citing things waiting for you in new beijing, a dynamic modern metropolis with 3,000 years of cultural treasures woven into the urban tapestry. along with the iconic imagery of the forbidden city, the temple of heaven and the great wall, the city offers an endless mi_ture of theatres, museums, discos, all kinds of restaurants and shopping malls that will amaze and delight you. but beyond that, it is a place of millions of friendly people who love to meet people from around the world. people of beijing believe that the 2022 olympic games in beijing will help to enhance the harmony between our culture and the diverse cultures of the world. their gratitude will pour out in open e_pressions of affection for you and the great movement that you guide. within our cultural programs, education and communication will receive the highest priority. we seek to create an intellectual and sporting legacy by broadening the understanding of the olympic ideals throughout the country. cultural events will unfold each year, from 2022 to 2022. we will stage multi-disciplined cultural programs, such as concerts, e_hibitions, art competitions and camps which will involve young people from around the world. during the olympics, they will be staged in the olympic village and the city for the benefit of the athletes. our ceremonies will give china's greatest-and the world's greatest artists a stage for celebrating the common aspirations of humanity and the unique heritage of our culture and the olympic movement. with a concept inspired by the famed silk road, our torch relay will break new ground, traveling from olympia through some of the oldest civilizations known to man-greek, roman, egyptian, byzantine, mesopotamian, persian, arabian, indian and chinese. carrying the message 'share the peace, share the olympics,' the eternal flame will reach new heights as it crosses the himalayas over the world's highest summit - mount qomolangma, which is known to many of you as mt. everest. in china, the flame will pass through tibet, cross the yangtze and yellow rivers, travel the great wall and visit hong kong, macau, taiwan and the 56 ethnic communities who make up our society. on its journey, the flame will be seen by and inspire more human beings than any previous relay. i am afraid i can not present the whole picture of our cultural programs within such a short period of time. before i end, let me share with you one story. seven hundred years ago, amazed by his incredible deions of a far away land of great beauty.d by his incredible deio whether his stories about china were true.he answered: what i have told you was not even half of what i saw. actually, what we have shown you here today is only a fraction of beijing that awaits you. ladies and gentlemen, i believe that beijing will prove to be a land of wonders to athletes, spectators and the worldwide television audience alike. come and join us.thank you, mr. president. thank you all.

2000年8月5日，是一個(gè)值得每個(gè)中國(guó)孩子驕傲的日子。在國(guó)際奧委會(huì)將對(duì)10個(gè)申辦城市進(jìn)行第一輪篩選前夕，北京育才小學(xué)的體育館里，隨著21萬(wàn)6千張多米諾骨牌叮咚咚的傾倒，全世界人民仿佛都聽(tīng)到了中國(guó)孩子的吶喊：北京，你能行！

為支持北京申辦2008年奧運(yùn)會(huì)，全國(guó)的少先隊(duì)員們紛紛加入了支持申奧的行列。育才小學(xué)“我為申奧出把力，我為祖國(guó)添光彩”為主題的`“2000勇創(chuàng)多米諾世界紀(jì)錄活動(dòng)”就是其中之一。從2000年7月27日至8月5日，40多名少先隊(duì)員碼放了20多萬(wàn)張多米諾骨牌。碼牌期間，為防止風(fēng)力過(guò)大和小鳥(niǎo)、飛蟲(chóng)的進(jìn)入，造成骨牌意外倒塌，大家揮汗如雨，每夭碼牌超過(guò)8個(gè)小時(shí)。由于長(zhǎng)時(shí)間低頭碼牌，有的隊(duì)員流了鼻血，但還是堅(jiān)持下來(lái)。

河北滄州市實(shí)驗(yàn)小學(xué)四年級(jí)隊(duì)員陳一栗，專門(mén)繪制了一幅圖畫(huà)寄給國(guó)際奧委會(huì)主席薩馬蘭奇先生，畫(huà)面以五星紅旗為背景，繪有奧運(yùn)會(huì)的五環(huán)標(biāo)志，五環(huán)下是一條騰飛的巨龍，巨龍身上畫(huà)著羽毛球、乒乓球、足球、籃球、排球等運(yùn)動(dòng)項(xiàng)目，寓意中國(guó)有能力承辦2008年奧運(yùn)會(huì)。全國(guó)各地的少先隊(duì)員們也都以自己特殊的方式表達(dá)著企盼北京申辦奧運(yùn)成功的心愿。他們中間有的參加擦洗公用電話亭，揀拾垃圾，清掃街道等公益活動(dòng)；有的在街道上站起了申奧交通崗，有的擺開(kāi)了申奧宣傳陣容。敲起歡樂(lè)的鑼鼓，奏起明快的樂(lè)曲，跳起優(yōu)美的舞蹈，把顆顆童心向奧運(yùn)的心情表達(dá)得淋漓盡致。申奧簽名的百米長(zhǎng)卷密密麻麻簽滿了各族兒童的名字，也簽上了他們的祝福：“祝北京申奧成功?！?/p>

6月23日是國(guó)際奧林匹克日，讓我們一起加入到申奧的行列中來(lái)吧！在2001年7月莫斯科宣布最終申辦結(jié)果之前，讓我們以自己的實(shí)際行動(dòng)再次向世界宣告：億萬(wàn)中國(guó)人，申奧有精神；失敗了，爬起來(lái)，準(zhǔn)備好，重新來(lái)，永不言敗，直到勝利！嗨，讓我們祝北京好運(yùn)！讓我們?yōu)樯陫W加油！北京2008——成功！
