第1篇 ted英語(yǔ)演講稿:不幸也許是個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)

簡(jiǎn)介:殘奧會(huì)短跑冠軍aimee mullins天生沒(méi)有腓骨,從小就要學(xué)習(xí)靠義肢走路和奔跑。如今,她不僅是短跑選手、演員、模特,還是一位穩(wěn)健的演講者。她不喜歡字典中 “disabled”這個(gè)詞,因?yàn)樨?fù)面詞匯足以毀掉一個(gè)人。但是,坦然面對(duì)不幸,你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)等待你的是更多的機(jī)會(huì)。

i'd like to share with you a discovery that i made a few months ago while writing an article for italian wired. i always keep my thesaurus handy whenever i'm writing anything, but i'd already finished editing the piece, and i realized that i had never once in my life looked up the word 'disabled' to see what i'd find.

let me read you the entry. 'disabled, adjective: crippled, helpless, useless, wrecked, stalled, maimed, wounded, mangled, lame, mutilated, run-down, worn-out, weakened, impotent, castrated, paralyzed, handicapped, senile, decrepit, laid-up, done-up, done-for, done-in cracked-up, counted-out; see also hurt, useless and weak. antonyms, healthy, strong, capable.' i was reading this list out loud to a friend and at first was laughing, it was so ludicrous, but i'd just gotten past 'mangled,' and my voice broke, and i had to stop and collect myself from the emotional shock and impact that the assault from these words unleashed.

you know, of course, this is my raggedy old thesaurus so i'm thinking this must be an ancient print date, right? but, in fact, the print date was the early 1980s, when i would have been starting primary school and forming an understanding of myself outside the family unit and as related to the other kids and the world around me. and, needless to say, thank god i wasn't using a thesaurus back then. i mean, from this entry, it would seem that i was born into a world that perceived someone like me to have nothing positive whatsoever going for them, when in fact, today i'm celebrated for the opportunities and adventures my life has procured.

so, i immediately went to look up the 2022 online edition, e_pecting to find a revision worth noting. here's the updated version of this entry. unfortunately, it's not much better. i find the last two words under 'near antonyms,' particularly unsettling: 'whole' and 'wholesome.'

so, it's not just about the words. it's what we believe about people when we name them with these words. it's about the values behind the words, and how we construct those values. our language affects our thinking and how we view the world and how we view other people. in fact, many ancient societies, including the greeks and the romans, believed that to utter a curse verbally was so powerful, because to say the thing out loud brought it into e_istence. so, what reality do we want to call into e_istence: a person who is limited, or a person who's empowered? by casually doing something as simple as naming a person, a child, we might be putting lids and casting shadows on their power. wouldn't we want to open doors for them instead?

one such person who opened doors for me was my childhood doctor at the a.i. dupont institute in wilmington, delaware. his name was dr. pizzutillo, an italian american, whose name, apparently, was too difficult for most americans to pronounce, so he went by dr. p. and dr. p always wore really colorful bow ties and had the very perfect disposition to work with children.

i loved almost everything about my time spent at this hospital, with the e_ception of my physical therapy sessions. i had to do what seemed like innumerable repetitions of e_ercises with these thick, elastic bands -- different colors, you know -- to help build up my leg muscles, and i hated these bands more than anything -- i hated them, had names for them. i hated them. and, you know, i was already bargaining, as a five year-old child, with dr. p to try to get out of doing these e_ercises, unsuccessfully, of course. and, one day, he came in to my session -- e_haustive and unforgiving, these sessions -- and he said to me, 'wow. aimee, you are such a strong and powerful little girl, i think you're going to break one of those bands. when you do break it, i'm going to give you a hundred bucks.'

now, of course, this was a simple ploy on dr. p's part to get me to do the e_ercises i didn't want to do before the prospect of being the richest five-year-old in the second floor ward, but what he effectively did for me was reshape an awful daily occurrence into a new and promising e_perience for me. and i have to wonder today to what e_tent his vision and his declaration of me as a strong and powerful little girl shaped my own view of myself as an inherently strong, powerful and athletic person well into the future.

this is an e_ample of how adults in positions of power can ignite the power of a child. but, in the previous instances of those thesaurus entries, our language isn't allowing us to evolve into the reality that we would all want, the possibility of an individual to see themselves as capable. our language hasn't caught up with the changes in our society, many of which have been brought about by technology. certainly, from a medical standpoint, my legs, laser surgery for vision impairment, titanium knees and hip replacements for aging bodies that are allowing people to more fully engage with their abilities, and move beyond the limits that nature has imposed on them -- not to mention social networking platforms allow people to self-identify, to claim their own descriptions of themselves, so they can go align with global groups of their own choosing. so, perhaps technology is revealing more clearly to us now what has always been a truth: that everyone has something rare and powerful to offer our society, and that the human ability to adapt is our greatest asset.

the human ability to adapt, it's an interesting thing, because people have continually wanted to talk to me about overcoming adversity, and i'm going to make an admission: this phrase never sat right with me, and i always felt uneasy trying to answer people's questions about it, and i think i'm starting to figure out why. implicit in this phrase of 'overcoming adversity' is the idea that success, or happiness, is about emerging on the other side of a challenging e_perience unscathed or unmarked by the e_perience, as if my successes in life have come about from an ability to sidestep or circumnavigate the presumed pitfalls of a life with prosthetics, or what other people perceive as my disability. but, in fact, we are changed. we are marked, of course, by a challenge, whether physically, emotionally or both. and i'm going to suggest that this is a good thing. adversity isn't an obstacle that we need to get around in order to resume living our life. it's part of our life. and i tend to think of it like my shadow. sometimes i see a lot of it, sometimes there's very little, but it's always with me. and, certainly, i'm not trying to diminish the impact, the weight, of a person's struggle.

there is adversity and challenge in life, and it's all very real and relative to every single person, but the question isn't whether or not you're going to meet adversity, but how you're going to meet it. so, our responsibility is not simply shielding those we care for from adversity, but preparing them to meet it well. and we do a disservice to our kids when we make them feel that they're not equipped to adapt. there's an important difference and distinction between the objective medical fact of my being an amputee and the subjective societal opinion of whether or not i'm disabled. and, truthfully, the only real and consistent disability i've had to confront is the world ever thinking that i could be described by those definitions.

in our desire to protect those we care about by giving them the cold, hard truth about their medical prognosis, or, indeed, a prognosis on the e_pected quality of their life, we have to make sure that we don't put the first brick in a wall that will actually disable someone. perhaps the e_isting model of only looking at what is broken in you and how do we fi_ it, serves to be more disabling to the individual than the pathology itself.

by not treating the wholeness of a person, by not acknowledging their potency, we are creating another ill on top of whatever natural struggle they might have. we are effectively grading someone's worth to our community. so we need to see through the pathology and into the range of human capability. and, most importantly, there's a partnership between those perceived deficiencies and our greatest creative ability. so it's not about devaluing, or negating, these more trying times as something we want to avoid or sweep under the rug, but instead to find those opportunities wrapped in the adversity. so maybe the idea i want to put out there is not so much overcoming adversity as it is opening ourselves up to it, embracing it, grappling with it, to use a wrestling term, maybe even dancing with it. and, perhaps, if we see adversity as natural, consistent and useful, we're less burdened by the presence of it.

this year we celebrate the 200th birthday of charles darwin, and it was 150 years ago, when writing about evolution, that darwin illustrated, i think, a truth about the human character. to paraphrase: it's not the strongest of the species that survives, nor is it the most intelligent that survives; it is the one that is most adaptable to change. conflict is the genesis of creation. from darwin's work, amongst others, we can recognize that the human ability to survive and flourish is driven by the struggle of the human spirit through conflict into transformation. so, again, transformation, adaptation, is our greatest human skill. and, perhaps, until we're tested, we don't know what we're made of. maybe that's what adversity gives us: a sense of self, a sense of our own power. so, we can give ourselves a gift. we can re-imagine adversity as something more than just tough times. maybe we can see it as change. adversity is just change that we haven't adapted ourselves to yet.

i think the greatest adversity that we've created for ourselves is this idea of normalcy. now, who's normal? there's no normal. there's common, there's typical. there's no normal, and would you want to meet that poor, beige person if they e_isted? (laughter) i don't think so. if we can change this paradigm from one of achieving normalcy to one of possibility -- or potency, to be even a little bit more dangerous -- we can release the power of so many more children, and invite them to engage their rare and valuable abilities with the community.

anthropologists tell us that the one thing we as humans have always required of our community members is to be of use, to be able to contribute. there's evidence that neanderthals, 60,000 years ago, carried their elderly and those with serious physical injury, and perhaps it's because the life e_perience of survival of these people proved of value to the community. they didn't view these people as broken and useless; they were seen as rare and valuable.

a few years ago, i was in a food market in the town where i grew up in that red zone in northeastern pennsylvania, and i was standing over a bushel of tomatoes. it was summertime: i had shorts on. i hear this guy, his voice behind me say, 'well, if it isn't aimee mullins.' and i turn around, and it's this older man. i have no idea who he is.

and i said, 'i'm sorry, sir, have we met? i don't remember meeting you.'

he said, 'well, you wouldn't remember meeting me. i mean, when we met i was delivering you from your mother's womb.' (laughter) oh, that guy. and, but of course, actually, it did click.

this man was dr. kean, a man that i had only known about through my mother's stories of that day, because, of course, typical fashion, i arrived late for my birthday by two weeks. and so my mother's prenatal physician had gone on vacation, so the man who delivered me was a complete stranger to my parents. and, because i was born without the fibula bones, and had feet turned in, and a few toes in this foot and a few toes in that, he had to be the bearer -- this stranger had to be the bearer of bad news.

he said to me, 'i had to give this prognosis to your parents that you would never walk, and you would never have the kind of mobility that other kids have or any kind of life of independence, and you've been making liar out of me ever since.' (laughter) (applause)

the e_traordinary thing is that he said he had saved newspaper clippings throughout my whole childhood, whether winning a second grade spelling bee, marching with the girl scouts, you know, the halloween parade, winning my college scholarship, or any of my sports victories, and he was using it, and integrating it into teaching resident students, med students from hahnemann medical school and hershey medical school. and he called this part of the course the _ factor, the potential of the human will. no prognosis can account for how powerful this could be as a determinant in the quality of someone's life. and dr. kean went on to tell me, he said, 'in my e_perience, unless repeatedly told otherwise, and even if given a modicum of support, if left to their own devices, a child will achieve.'

see, dr. kean made that shift in thinking. he understood that there's a difference between the medical condition and what someone might do with it. and there's been a shift in my thinking over time, in that, if you had asked me at 15 years old, if i would have traded prosthetics for flesh-and-bone legs, i wouldn't have hesitated for a second. i aspired to that kind of normalcy back then. but if you ask me today, i'm not so sure. and it's because of the e_periences i've had with them, not in spite of the e_periences i've had with them. and perhaps this shift in me has happened because i've been e_posed to more people who have opened doors for me than those who have put lids and cast shadows on me.

see, all you really need is one person to show you the epiphany of your own power, and you're off. if you can hand somebody the key to their own power -- the human spirit is so receptive -- if you can do that and open a door for someone at a crucial moment, you are educating them in the best sense. you're teaching them to open doors for themselves. in fact, the e_act meaning of the word 'educate' comes from the root word 'educe.' it means 'to bring forth what is within, to bring out potential.' so again, which potential do we want to bring out?

there was a case study done in 1960s britain, when they were moving from grammar schools to comprehensive schools. it's called the streaming trials. we call it 'tracking' here in the states. it's separating students from a, b, c, d and so on. and the 'a students' get the tougher curriculum, the best teachers, etc. well, they took, over a three-month period, d-level students, gave them a's, told them they were 'a's,' told them they were bright, and at the end of this three-month period, they were performing at a-level.

and, of course, the heartbreaking, flip side of this study, is that they took the 'a students' and told them they were 'd's.' and that's what happened at the end of that three-month period. those who were still around in school, besides the people who had dropped out. a crucial part of this case study was that the teachers were duped too. the teachers didn't know a switch had been made. they were simply told, 'these are the 'a-students,' these are the 'd-students.'' and that's how they went about teaching them and treating them.

so, i think that the only true disability is a crushed spirit, a spirit that's been crushed doesn't have hope, it doesn't see beauty, it no longer has our natural, childlike curiosity and our innate ability to imagine. if instead, we can bolster a human spirit to keep hope, to see beauty in themselves and others, to be curious and imaginative, then we are truly using our power well. when a spirit has those qualities, we are able to create new realities and new ways of being.

i'd like to leave you with a poem by a fourteenth-century persian poet named hafiz that my friend, jacques dembois told me about, and the poem is called 'the god who only knows four words': 'every child has known god, not the god of names, not the god of don'ts, but the god who only knows four words and keeps repeating them, saying, 'come dance with me. come, dance with me. come, dance with me.''

大家好!

第一次站在這個(gè)別開(kāi)生面的演講臺(tái)上參加競(jìng)聘,我感到既激動(dòng)又忐忑,這對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō)既是一次挑戰(zhàn),又是一次對(duì)以往工作的檢驗(yàn),更是一次學(xué)習(xí)交流的機(jī)會(huì)。我衷心感謝組織給予我這樣一個(gè)展示自我、提高自我的平臺(tái)!感恩三年來(lái)在工作道路上一直關(guān)心我、支持我、幫助我成長(zhǎng)的各位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和在座的同事們!是你們讓我充滿(mǎn)了工作的激情,是你們陪伴我取得了一次次成績(jī),是你們給了我參加競(jìng)聘的勇氣和力量。我將珍惜這次機(jī)會(huì),用我的奉獻(xiàn)之心和愛(ài)崗之情,接受大家的評(píng)判和組織的挑選。 這次機(jī)構(gòu)改革,終止了信息中心掛靠股室的歷史

,成立了征管和信息股,我今天要競(jìng)聘的崗位是征管和信息股副股長(zhǎng),競(jìng)聘這一崗位我認(rèn)為我有如下優(yōu)勢(shì)。

一是有信息化工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)。我出身科班,大學(xué)中我的專(zhuān)業(yè)是計(jì)算機(jī)應(yīng)用專(zhuān)業(yè),有較強(qiáng)的專(zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)能力。自從2007年進(jìn)入縣局,我就一直具體負(fù)責(zé)實(shí)施著信息化工作。從軟、硬件管理、網(wǎng)絡(luò)維護(hù)、系統(tǒng)運(yùn)維、文件上報(bào)、資料歸檔、信息調(diào)研、耗材配發(fā)、技術(shù)支持多方面一手擔(dān)負(fù)起了全局信息化工作。2008年我參加全國(guó)計(jì)算機(jī)技術(shù)與軟件專(zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)資格(水平)考試,獲得了網(wǎng)絡(luò)工程師資格。今年11月,我參與了縣局辦公樓網(wǎng)絡(luò)布線工程,通過(guò)此次網(wǎng)絡(luò)和機(jī)房建設(shè),不但使我學(xué)到了彌足珍貴的實(shí)踐經(jīng)驗(yàn),也使我對(duì)稅務(wù)部門(mén)信息化建設(shè)有了更加系統(tǒng)的認(rèn)識(shí)。三年來(lái)從無(wú)到有,從生疏到熟練,使我對(duì)此項(xiàng)工作有了更加深刻的認(rèn)識(shí),也建立了自己對(duì)信息化工作的想法和看法。

二是忠于地稅事業(yè),樂(lè)于崗位奉獻(xiàn)。都說(shuō)女人是水,但我的性格成分中卻有著一種永不言敗、永不服輸?shù)膫€(gè)性,我用我的個(gè)性書(shū)寫(xiě)地稅人生。一是工作面前有“干勁”。在實(shí)際工作中,不管領(lǐng)導(dǎo)交給的工作任務(wù)輕重與否,我從不討價(jià)還價(jià),從不拈輕怕重,從不敷衍塞責(zé),總是以愉快的心情去接受任務(wù),以最大的努力去克服困難,以拼搏的精神去履行職責(zé)。每一點(diǎn)成績(jī),每一次進(jìn)步,都為自己的苦干實(shí)干而感到欣慰;盡管自己有時(shí)對(duì)工作的效果不太滿(mǎn)意,但盡力而為了,也問(wèn)心無(wú)愧。這三年來(lái)我擔(dān)負(fù)的工作是繁雜的,但我一直在工作中體會(huì)著實(shí)現(xiàn)自我價(jià)值的樂(lè)趣,始終對(duì)工作保持著充沛的熱情。二是困難壓力面前有“韌勁”。平時(shí)我的個(gè)性隨和而開(kāi)朗,而作為一名女性,我又具備著女性獨(dú)有的柔韌性。工作中,有時(shí)會(huì)碰到這樣或那樣的困難,無(wú)論遇到什么樣的困難和挫折,我都能保持樂(lè)觀的心態(tài),以堅(jiān)忍不拔的毅力和韌勁去正確對(duì)待。而也正因?yàn)橐淮未蔚睦щy和挫折,使我在工作中一點(diǎn)一點(diǎn)進(jìn)步。三是業(yè)務(wù)面前有“鉆勁”。還記得每接受一項(xiàng)工作的時(shí)候,面對(duì)難題,總是不會(huì)就學(xué),不懂就問(wèn),向領(lǐng)導(dǎo)學(xué),向同事們學(xué),向書(shū)本,學(xué)向?qū)嵺`學(xué)。要么不做,既然做了就要做到最好。敷衍塞責(zé)這個(gè)成語(yǔ)不會(huì)出現(xiàn)在我的人生字典里。正是這種業(yè)務(wù)上的“鉆勁”,使我每踏上一個(gè)新的工作領(lǐng)域,都能很快進(jìn)入角色,理清思路,勝任工作。

三是我年富力強(qiáng),接受能力強(qiáng)。作為一個(gè)才二十幾歲的年輕人,我思想解放,勇

于探索,富有改革和創(chuàng)新精神。特別是近幾年的學(xué)習(xí)和實(shí)踐,使我拓寬了思路、開(kāi)闊了眼界,增強(qiáng)了大局觀念,豐富了管理經(jīng)驗(yàn),提高了分析、綜合、決策能力,組織協(xié)調(diào)能力也有了一定程度的提高。我相信,擁有強(qiáng)烈的事業(yè)心、責(zé)任感和旺盛的精力,使我一定能勝任我競(jìng)聘的工作。

四是工作中形成了嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)墓ぷ髯黠L(fēng)和良好的道德修養(yǎng)。長(zhǎng)期從事計(jì)劃財(cái)務(wù)工作的經(jīng)歷,養(yǎng)成了我辦事認(rèn)真仔細(xì),一絲不茍,有條不紊,沉著冷靜,吃苦耐勞,任勞任怨的工作作風(fēng)。無(wú)論是生活還是工作,我都能把握好做人的基本原則。坦坦蕩蕩,清清白白做事,誠(chéng)誠(chéng)懇懇,實(shí)實(shí)在在待人。不利于團(tuán)結(jié)的話不說(shuō),有損于團(tuán)結(jié)的事不做,既保持青春與活力,更堅(jiān)持原則和分寸,真正做到心底無(wú)私天地寬。

以上這些有利條件,使我能更快、更好地進(jìn)入工作角色,順利地開(kāi)展工作。如果能給我一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì),我將以?xún)?yōu)異的工作成績(jī)向領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和同事們交一份滿(mǎn)意的答卷。

“千里之行,始于足下。”我將通過(guò)以下四個(gè)方面的努力,認(rèn)真履行崗位職責(zé),爭(zhēng)取成為一名合格的中層副職干部。

一是轉(zhuǎn)變角色,我認(rèn)為:中層副職領(lǐng)導(dǎo)應(yīng)當(dāng)既是通曉某項(xiàng)業(yè)務(wù)的骨干,又是能為主要領(lǐng)導(dǎo)獻(xiàn)計(jì)獻(xiàn)策推動(dòng)全面工作的得力助手;既是推進(jìn)業(yè)務(wù)進(jìn)程的組織者指揮者,又是積極投入實(shí)際工作的參與者;既要明確職責(zé),協(xié)調(diào)好與正職領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的工作關(guān)系,當(dāng)好參謀助手,又要通過(guò)溝通和調(diào)節(jié)處理好與部門(mén)與下屬的關(guān)系,成為橋梁與紐帶;總之,要做到盡職不越權(quán),幫忙不添亂,補(bǔ)臺(tái)不拆臺(tái);要擺正位置,當(dāng)好配角;胸懷大局,當(dāng)好參謀;服從領(lǐng)導(dǎo),當(dāng)好助手。

二是要找準(zhǔn)自己定位,盡快上手工作。這次機(jī)構(gòu)改革改革涉及到了股室職能的重新劃分,新的機(jī)構(gòu)設(shè)置必然會(huì)帶來(lái)一些新情況、新問(wèn)題,信息化與征管進(jìn)行合并也說(shuō)明對(duì)稅收管理工作提出了新的要求。而以我本身來(lái)看我的業(yè)務(wù)知識(shí)還有欠缺,稅收征管對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō)是一個(gè)全新的領(lǐng)域,我要盡快熟悉業(yè)務(wù),找準(zhǔn)自己的定位,制定工作計(jì)劃,扎扎實(shí)實(shí)地開(kāi)展工作,做好自己所負(fù)責(zé)的工作任務(wù)。

三是堅(jiān)持學(xué)習(xí)不放松,提高自身素質(zhì)。一方面加強(qiáng)政治理論知識(shí)的學(xué)習(xí),不斷提高自己的政治理論修養(yǎng)和明辯大是大非的能力。另一方面是身在業(yè)務(wù)股室,更應(yīng)不斷充實(shí)完善,加強(qiáng)業(yè)務(wù)知識(shí)學(xué)習(xí),具備較強(qiáng)的業(yè)務(wù)素養(yǎng),使自己更加勝任本職工作。我將以虛心的態(tài)度向同志們學(xué)習(xí),向身邊人學(xué)習(xí),取人之長(zhǎng),補(bǔ)己之短,使自己盡快適應(yīng)工

作需要。

四是處理好做人與做事的關(guān)系。一是要老老實(shí)實(shí)做人。一方面更要嚴(yán)以律己,以黨員標(biāo)準(zhǔn),時(shí)時(shí)做到自重、自省、自警、自勵(lì),經(jīng)得起考驗(yàn);另一方面要團(tuán)結(jié)同事、寬以待人,與人為善,取人之長(zhǎng),容人之短,互相理解、互相支持。二是要踏踏實(shí)實(shí)做事。把心思花在謀事上,把精力用在干事上,真正做到想干事,能辦大事,會(huì)辦難事,敢辦新事。

簡(jiǎn)介:殘奧會(huì)短跑冠軍aimee mullins天生沒(méi)有腓骨,從小就要學(xué)習(xí)靠義肢走路和奔跑。如今,她不僅是短跑選手、演員、模特,還是一位穩(wěn)健的演講者。她不喜歡典中 “disabled”這個(gè)詞,因?yàn)樨?fù)面詞匯足以毀掉一個(gè)人。但是,坦然面對(duì)不幸,你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)等待你的是更多的機(jī)會(huì)。

i'd like to share with you a discovery that i made a few months ago while writing an article for italian wired. i always keep my thesaurus handy whenever i'm writing anything, but i'd already finished editing the piece, and i realized that i had never once in my life looked up the word 'disabled' to see what i'd find.

let me read you the entry. 'disabled, adjective: crippled, helpless, useless, wrecked, stalled, maimed, wounded, mangled, lame, mutilated, run-down, worn-out, weakened, impotent, castrated, paralyzed, handicapped, senile, decrepit, laid-up, done-up, done-for, done-in cracked-up, counted-out; see also hurt, useless and weak. antonyms, healthy, strong, capable.' i was reading this list out loud to a friend and at first was laughing, it was so ludicrous, but i'd just gotten past 'mangled,' and my voice broke, and i had to stop and collect myself from the emotional shock and impact that the assault from these words unleashed.

you know, of course, this is my raggedy old thesaurus so i'm thinking this must be an ancient print date, right? but, in fact, the print date was the early 1980s, when i would have been starting primary school and forming an understanding of myself outside the family unit and as related to the other kids and the world around me. and, needless to say, thank god i wasn't using a thesaurus back then. i mean, from this entry, it would seem that i was born into a world that perceived someone like me to have nothing positive whatsoever going for them, when in fact, today i'm celebrated for the opportunities and adventures my life has procured.

so, i immediately went to look up the __ online edition, e_pecting to find a revision worth noting. here's the updated version of this entry. unfortunately, it's not much better. i find the last two words under 'near antonyms,' particularly unsettling: 'whole' and 'wholesome.'

so, it's not just about the words. it's what we believe about people when we name them with these words. it's about the values behind the words, and how we construct those values. our language affects our thinking and how we view the world and how we view other people. in fact, many ancient societies, including the greeks and the romans, believed that to utter a curse verbally was so powerful, because to say the thing out loud brought it into e_istence. so, what reality do we want to call into e_istence: a person who is limited, or a person who's empowered? by casually doing something as simple as naming a person, a child, we might be putting lids and casting shadows on their power. wouldn't we want to open doors for them instead?

one such person who opened doors for me was my childhood doctor at the a.i. dupont institute in wilmington, delaware. his name was dr. pizzutillo, an italian american, whose name, apparently, was too difficult for most americans to pronounce, so he went by dr. p. and dr. p always wore really colorful bow ties and had the very perfect disposition to work with children.

i loved almost everything about my time spent at this hospital, with the e_ception of my physical therapy sessions. i had to do what seemed like innumerable repetitions of e_ercises with these thick, elastic bands -- different colors, you know -- to help build up my leg muscles, and i hated these bands more than anything -- i hated them, had names for them. i hated them. and, you know, i was already bargaining, as a five year-old child, with dr. p to try to get out of doing these e_ercises, unsuccessfully, of course. and, one day, he came in to my session -- e_haustive and unforgiving, these sessions -- and he said to me, 'wow. aimee, you are such a strong and powerful little girl, i think you're going to break one of those bands. when you do break it, i'm going to give you a hundred bucks.'

now, of course, this was a simple ploy on dr. p's part to get me to do the e_ercises i didn't want to do before the prospect of being the richest five-year-old in the second floor ward, but what he effectively did for me was reshape an awful daily occurrence into a new and promising e_perience for me. and i have to wonder today to what e_tent his vision and his declaration of me as a strong and powerful little girl shaped my own view of myself as an inherently strong, powerful and athletic person well into the future.

this is an e_ample of how adults in positions of power can ignite the power of a child. but, in the previous instances of those thesaurus entries, our language isn't allowing us to evolve into the reality that we would all want, the possibility of an individual to see themselves as capable. our language hasn't caught up with the changes in our society, many of which have been brought about by technology. certainly, from a medical standpoint, my legs, laser surgery for vision impairment, titanium knees and hip replacements for aging bodies that are allowing people to more fully engage with their abilities, and move beyond the limits that nature has imposed on them -- not to mention social networking platforms allow people to self-identify, to claim their own descriptions of themselves, so they can go align with global groups of their own choosing. so, perhaps technology is revealing more clearly to us now what has always been a truth: that everyone has something rare and powerful to offer our society, and that the human ability to adapt is our greatest asset.

the human ability to adapt, it's an interesting thing, because people have continually wanted to talk to me about overcoming adversity, and i'm going to make an admission: this phrase never sat right with me, and i always felt uneasy trying to answer people's questions about it, and i think i'm starting to figure out why. implicit in this phrase of 'overcoming adversity' is the idea that success, or happiness, is about emerging on the other side of a challenging e_perience unscathed or unmarked by the e_perience, as if my successes in life have come about from an ability to sidestep or circumnavigate the presumed pitfalls of a life with prosthetics, or what other people perceive as my disability. but, in fact, we are changed. we are marked, of course, by a challenge, whether physically, emotionally or both. and i'm going to suggest that this is a good thing. adversity isn't an obstacle that we need to get around in order to resume living our life. it's part of our life. and i tend to think of it like my shadow. sometimes i see a lot of it, sometimes there's very little, but it's always with me. and, certainly, i'm not trying to diminish the impact, the weight, of a person's struggle.

there is adversity and challenge in life, and it's all very real and relative to every single person, but the question isn't whether or not you're going to meet adversity, but how you're going to meet it. so, our responsibility is not simply shielding those we care for from adversity, but preparing them to meet it well. and we do a disservice to our kids when we make them feel that they're not equipped to adapt. there's an important difference and distinction between the objective medical fact of my being an amputee and the subjective societal opinion of whether or not i'm disabled. and, truthfully, the only real and consistent disability i've had to confront is the world ever thinking that i could be described by those definitions.

in our desire to protect those we care about by giving them the cold, hard truth about their medical prognosis, or, indeed, a prognosis on the e_pected quality of their life, we have to make sure that we don't put the first brick in a wall that will actually disable someone. perhaps the e_isting model of only looking at what is broken in you and how do we fi_ it, serves to be more disabling to the individual than the pathology itself.

by not treating the wholeness of a person, by not acknowledging their potency, we are creating another ill on top of whatever natural struggle they might have. we are effectively grading someone's worth to our community. so we need to see through the pathology and into the range of human capability. and, most importantly, there's a partnership between those perceived deficiencies and our greatest creative ability. so it's not about devaluing, or negating, these more trying times as something we want to avoid or sweep under the rug, but instead to find those opportunities wrapped in the adversity. so maybe the idea i want to put out there is not so much overcoming adversity as it is opening ourselves up to it, embracing it, grappling with it, to use a wrestling term, maybe even dancing with it. and, perhaps, if we see adversity as natural, consistent and useful, we're less burdened by the presence of it.

this year we celebrate the 200th birthday of charles darwin, and it was 150 years ago, when writing about evolution, that darwin illustrated, i think, a truth about the human character. to paraphrase: it's not the strongest of the species that survives, nor is it the most intelligent that survives; it is the one that is most adaptable to change. conflict is the genesis of creation. from darwin's work, amongst others, we can recognize that the human ability to survive and flourish is driven by the struggle of the human spirit through conflict into transformation. so, again, transformation, adaptation, is our greatest human skill. and, perhaps, until we're tested, we don't know what we're made of. maybe that's what adversity gives us: a sense of self, a sense of our own power. so, we can give ourselves a gift. we can re-imagine adversity as something more than just tough times. maybe we can see it as change. adversity is just change that we haven't adapted ourselves to yet.

i think the greatest adversity that we've created for ourselves is this idea of normalcy. now, who's normal? there's no normal. there's common, there's typical. there's no normal, and would you want to meet that poor, beige person if they e_isted? (laughter) i don't think so. if we can change this paradigm from one of achieving normalcy to one of possibility -- or potency, to be even a little bit more dangerous -- we can release the power of so many more children, and invite them to engage their rare and valuable abilities with the community.

anthropologists tell us that the one thing we as humans have always required of our community members is to be of use, to be able to contribute. there's evidence that neanderthals, 60,000 years ago, carried their elderly and those with serious physical injury, and perhaps it's because the life e_perience of survival of these people proved of value to the community. they didn't view these people as broken and useless; they were seen as rare and valuable.

a few years ago, i was in a food market in the town where i grew up in that red zone in northeastern pennsylvania, and i was standing over a bushel of tomatoes. it was summertime: i had shorts on. i hear this guy, his voice behind me say, 'well, if it isn't aimee mullins.' and i turn around, and it's this older man. i have no idea who he is.

and i said, 'i'm sorry, sir, have we met? i don't remember meeting you.'

he said, 'well, you wouldn't remember meeting me. i mean, when we met i was delivering you from your mother's womb.' (laughter) oh, that guy. and, but of course, actually, it did click.

this man was dr. kean, a man that i had only known about through my mother's stories of that day, because, of course, typical fashion, i arrived late for my birthday by two weeks. and so my mother's prenatal physician had gone on vacation, so the man who delivered me was a complete stranger to my parents. and, because i was born without the fibula bones, and had feet turned in, and a few toes in this foot and a few toes in that, he had to be the bearer -- this stranger had to be the bearer of bad news.

he said to me, 'i had to give this prognosis to your parents that you would never walk, and you would never have the kind of mobility that other kids have or any kind of life of independence, and you've been making liar out of me ever since.' (laughter) (applause)

the e_traordinary thing is that he said he had saved newspaper clippings throughout my whole childhood, whether winning a second grade spelling bee, marching with the girl scouts, you know, the halloween parade, winning my college scholarship, or any of my sports victories, and he was using it, and integrating it into teaching resident students, med students from hahnemann medical school and hershey medical school. and he called this part of the course the _ factor, the potential of the human will. no prognosis can account for how powerful this could be as a determinant in the quality of someone's life. and dr. kean went on to tell me, he said, 'in my e_perience, unless repeatedly told otherwise, and even if given a modicum of support, if left to their own devices, a child will achieve.'

see, dr. kean made that shift in thinking. he understood that there's a difference between the medical condition and what someone might do with it. and there's been a shift in my thinking over time, in that, if you had asked me at 15 years old, if i would have traded prosthetics for flesh-and-bone legs, i wouldn't have hesitated for a second. i aspired to that kind of normalcy back then. but if you ask me today, i'm not so sure. and it's because of the e_periences i've had with them, not in spite of the e_periences i've had with them. and perhaps this shift in me has happened because i've been e_posed to more people who have opened doors for me than those who have put lids and cast shadows on me.

see, all you really need is one person to show you the epiphany of your own power, and you're off. if you can hand somebody the key to their own power -- the human spirit is so receptive -- if you can do that and open a door for someone at a crucial moment, you are educating them in the best sense. you're teaching them to open doors for themselves. in fact, the e_act meaning of the word 'educate' comes from the root word 'educe.' it means 'to bring forth what is within, to bring out potential.' so again, which potential do we want to bring out?

there was a case study done in 1960s britain, when they were moving from grammar schools to comprehensive schools. it's called the streaming trials. we call it 'tracking' here in the states. it's separating students from a, b, c, d and so on. and the 'a students' get the tougher curriculum, the best teachers, etc. well, they took, over a three-month period, d-level students, gave them a's, told them they were 'a's,' told them they were bright, and at the end of this three-month period, they were performing at a-level.

and, of course, the heartbreaking, flip side of this study, is that they took the 'a students' and told them they were 'd's.' and that's what happened at the end of that three-month period. those who were still around in school, besides the people who had dropped out. a crucial part of this case study was that the teachers were duped too. the teachers didn't know a switch had been made. they were simply told, 'these are the 'a-students,' these are the 'd-students.'' and that's how they went about teaching them and treating them.

so, i think that the only true disability is a crushed spirit, a spirit that's been crushed doesn't have hope, it doesn't see beauty, it no longer has our natural, childlike curiosity and our innate ability to imagine. if instead, we can bolster a human spirit to keep hope, to see beauty in themselves and others, to be curious and imaginative, then we are truly using our power well. when a spirit has those qualities, we are able to create new realities and new ways of being.

i'd like to leave you with a poem by a fourteenth-century persian poet named hafiz that my friend, jacques dembois told me about, and the poem is called 'the god who only knows four words': 'every child has known god, not the god of names, not the god of don'ts, but the god who only knows four words and keeps repeating them, saying, 'come dance with me. come, dance with me. come, dance with me.''

俗話說(shuō):“機(jī)不再失,失不再來(lái)。”沒(méi)錯(cuò),機(jī)會(huì)貴就貴在它很多時(shí)候都只有一次。中央二套的《非常6+1》大家喜歡看嗎?里面就有一個(gè)砸金蛋的環(huán)節(jié)。當(dāng)有把從1到10號(hào)里選好的號(hào)碼報(bào)給節(jié)目主持人李詠時(shí),似乎你能做的就是等待塵埃落定,如果砸出金花四濺,恭喜你,圓夢(mèng)成功;如果砸得有聲無(wú)物,很遺憾,感謝參與??梢?jiàn),機(jī)會(huì)往往就近在咫尺。

機(jī)會(huì)可貴,值得珍惜。人們常說(shuō):“羨慕別人所得到的不如珍惜自己所擁有的。”我非常贊同這個(gè)說(shuō)法。因?yàn)槿烁饔兴L(zhǎng)嗎,當(dāng)你盲目的追求別人所得到的同時(shí)也失去了自己本身所擁有的,悲哀!眾所周知的歌星周杰倫,當(dāng)它在上四川音樂(lè)學(xué)院的時(shí)候,曾一度對(duì)籃球萬(wàn)分癡迷,甚至有時(shí)上音樂(lè)課也強(qiáng)行要求老師讓他去玩籃球,無(wú)耐之下,老師不得已同意了。但是后來(lái)他發(fā)現(xiàn)自己玩籃球沒(méi)戲。身材差老遠(yuǎn)了,不管是從平方的面積還是從立方的體積同見(jiàn)不到絲毫的優(yōu)勢(shì),混得再好,沖其量最多也不過(guò)是個(gè)nba 無(wú)人問(wèn)津的替補(bǔ)。不得不恭喜他選擇了珍惜自己所擁有的音樂(lè)天賦,所以才成就了他億萬(wàn)身份,家喻戶(hù)曉的知名度,在娛樂(lè)圈里首屈一指,成為名副其實(shí)的影視泰斗。再來(lái)說(shuō)說(shuō)馬云吧,馬云,在阿里巴巴沒(méi)有上市以前,馬云也是一個(gè)普通的大學(xué)生,但是改變他命運(yùn)的盡盡是一次小小的機(jī)會(huì)。一開(kāi)始馬云和美國(guó)老板恰談的合作并不順利,直到有一天,馬云收到小道消息,說(shuō)是美國(guó)老板要來(lái)北京玩。第二天馬云立馬從浙江奔赴到北京熟悉環(huán)境,什么吃喝玩樂(lè),馬云算是面面俱到、胸有成竹。當(dāng)美國(guó)老板來(lái)到北京以后,馬去可是十足的過(guò)了一把導(dǎo)游的隱,詮釋了什么叫做“尺地主之誼”。最后,老板投資他的項(xiàng)目也是順理成章、不足為奇。也成就了淘寶在網(wǎng)上購(gòu)物的壟斷地位?;蛟S你本也可以像周杰倫、馬云一樣揚(yáng)名四海、叱詫風(fēng)云,只是你不懂得珍惜機(jī)會(huì)罷了。

或許你會(huì)覺(jué)得那樣的機(jī)會(huì)離你太遙遠(yuǎn),不切實(shí)際,那我就來(lái)說(shuō)說(shuō)離你近點(diǎn)的吧。在商場(chǎng)這種聲音你是否聽(tīng)過(guò):“走過(guò)路過(guò)的朋友,千萬(wàn)不要錯(cuò)過(guò)如此良機(jī)……褲子特價(jià)28元一條,猶豫徘徊,等于白來(lái),徘徊猶豫,失去機(jī)遇”。像我今天這樣小小演講的機(jī)會(huì),如果能撼動(dòng)你、喚醒你對(duì)機(jī)會(huì)的重視,我演講的目的也就達(dá)到了。但是并不是所有的機(jī)會(huì)都值得珍惜,這就取決人的理性判斷。咱們?cè)囅耄喝绻o姚明一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)讓練110米跨欄情況會(huì)怎樣?結(jié)果是不言而喻,簡(jiǎn)直是笑話,那不是強(qiáng)人所難么?機(jī)會(huì)通常是指在人的能力范圍內(nèi),為了達(dá)到某個(gè)理論上可以實(shí)現(xiàn)的目的而努力奮斗的行為。姚明對(duì)機(jī)會(huì)的認(rèn)識(shí)是:只有抓住機(jī)會(huì)才能把比賽打好。是機(jī)會(huì)不是累贅,是累贅讓人頹廢。

尊敬的園領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、聘任小組、各位老師,你們好!

一年一度的競(jìng)聘上崗、展現(xiàn)自我的機(jī)會(huì)又?jǐn)[在了我們的面前,今天的我有點(diǎn)激動(dòng),有的緊張。因?yàn)槲覔?dān)任的這個(gè)班級(jí)有二年時(shí)間了,在這二年里,我班的朗朗古詩(shī)聲傳遍了幼兒園內(nèi)外,走進(jìn)了電視;在這二年里我班的“家園直通車(chē)”開(kāi)進(jìn)了每個(gè)家庭,走進(jìn)了每位家長(zhǎng)的心理;在這二年里,我班的孩子活潑自信,和諧發(fā)展。而我與他們朝夕相處,早已是心心相印。而下學(xué)期是這些孩子在幼兒園里最關(guān)鍵的一年,如何使他們永遠(yuǎn)記住在幼兒園里的快樂(lè)時(shí)光,如何讓他們充滿(mǎn)自信地走進(jìn)小學(xué)的課堂。這是我這幾天一直在思考的問(wèn)題。

新的世紀(jì)需要新的教育理念,新的世紀(jì)需要新的課程模式。小班化教育已越來(lái)越受到廣大教師、家長(zhǎng)的青睞。本學(xué)期,我園嘗試開(kāi)設(shè)小型班,這對(duì)我們老師是一個(gè)新的考驗(yàn),也是一次新的機(jī)遇,對(duì)于大班的老師更是一次新的挑戰(zhàn)。在此,我要求擔(dān)任大班小型班的班主任工作,在繼續(xù)做好班級(jí)常規(guī)的同時(shí),把我班的專(zhuān)題特色搞得更加紅紅火火。

一. 繼續(xù)開(kāi)展古詩(shī)誦讀活動(dòng)

一個(gè)人如果他從來(lái)沒(méi)有讀過(guò)唐詩(shī)、宋詞,他就沒(méi)有資格說(shuō)自己是一個(gè)真正的中國(guó)人。因?yàn)樗麩o(wú)法融入中華民族的精神生活。孩子們從小接觸經(jīng)典的古詩(shī)文,能開(kāi)發(fā)記憶力,打好語(yǔ)言文功底,獲得良好的熏陶和修養(yǎng),能對(duì)孩子的一生產(chǎn)生積極的影響。因此,在新學(xué)期里,我們將繼續(xù)開(kāi)展古詩(shī)誦讀活動(dòng),并在誦讀的基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單的識(shí)練習(xí),培養(yǎng)孩子早期閱讀的能力。在一定的階段進(jìn)行成果匯報(bào),古詩(shī)表演、古詩(shī)朗誦比賽、對(duì)詩(shī)等系列活動(dòng),當(dāng)這些孩子走進(jìn)小學(xué)的時(shí)候,都能出口成章,充滿(mǎn)自信。

二.繼續(xù)創(chuàng)建班級(jí)文化 辦好班級(jí)的另一特色——班報(bào)

幼兒園的工作離不開(kāi)家長(zhǎng)的配合,這句話我們每位老師都知道,可做起來(lái)就不是那么一回事

。我們時(shí)常與家長(zhǎng)交流,但真正將家長(zhǎng)資源充分利用卻還不夠。我班的家長(zhǎng)工作一直比較好,因?yàn)槲覀兣c家長(zhǎng)有一塊溝通的平臺(tái),那就是我們的班報(bào)——家園直通車(chē),我班的班報(bào),可謂是深入人手,每期都是人手一份,可最近我發(fā)現(xiàn),我班的班報(bào)每期都是我們老師組稿,編輯,而屬于家長(zhǎng)的位置就只有“聊天室”那么一小塊,互動(dòng)性不夠?!毒V要》精神要求我們?cè)诮虒W(xué)中必須做到師生互動(dòng)、生生互動(dòng)、家園互動(dòng)。因此,在新學(xué)期里,我們將對(duì)班報(bào)進(jìn)行全面改版,提供大量的空間,讓家長(zhǎng)們暢所欲言,出謀劃策,學(xué)習(xí)交流。讓家長(zhǎng)真正參與到我們的教學(xué)中來(lái)。小型班的家長(zhǎng),對(duì)孩子的教育比較重視,自身素質(zhì)也比較高。只要我們多與他們進(jìn)行心靈溝通、情感交流、換位而思,一定會(huì)贏得家長(zhǎng)的理解和支持,我們的家長(zhǎng)工作將會(huì)更順利展開(kāi),班報(bào)將會(huì)更加豐富多彩。

自始至終,在我的身上,總有一種東西在激勵(lì)著自己,那就是對(duì)幼教事業(yè)的熱愛(ài)。盡管歲月不饒人,盡管白發(fā)染雙鬢,因?yàn)闊釔?ài),所以責(zé)任在身;因?yàn)闊釔?ài)所以樂(lè)觀自信。我相信,這份熱愛(ài),一定也會(huì)感染我的孩子們,讓他們從小擔(dān)當(dāng)責(zé)任,充滿(mǎn)著自信。給我一個(gè)機(jī)會(huì),還你一份精彩,這是我想對(duì)聘任小組和老師們表達(dá)的心聲。

第4篇 勵(lì)志演講稿:機(jī)會(huì)只屬于有準(zhǔn)備的人

尊敬的各位老師、親愛(ài)的同學(xué)們:

大家好!

從來(lái)沒(méi)有想過(guò)能夠以今天這樣一種身份和方式重回人大的校園,在感到榮幸的同時(shí),也感到壓力。我問(wèn)自己,人大法學(xué)院的驕子們?cè)谶@個(gè)時(shí)刻是否還有人愿意聆聽(tīng)一個(gè)有了好幾個(gè)代溝的師姐在這嘮叨?如果僥幸還有人說(shuō)愿意的話,我要對(duì)大家說(shuō)什么?我能帶給大家什么?在提出這些問(wèn)題的同時(shí),我似乎看到了當(dāng)年自己畢業(yè)時(shí)的興奮和忐忑,也記起自己從事知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)審判18年來(lái)的辛苦和收獲。在我的成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程中,得到過(guò)很多師長(zhǎng)、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和同事的提醒、指導(dǎo)與幫助。所以,我希望我能把從他們那里得到的關(guān)愛(ài)傳遞給你們。今天,我從個(gè)人的經(jīng)歷談三點(diǎn)體會(huì),如果其中能有只言片語(yǔ)給大家一點(diǎn)觸動(dòng),也算沒(méi)有辜負(fù)老師的期望,沒(méi)有浪費(fèi)大家的時(shí)間。

我的體會(huì)是:認(rèn)清職責(zé),堅(jiān)持夢(mèng)想。

在這里,我想先問(wèn)同學(xué)們一個(gè)問(wèn)題,你對(duì)工作是如何認(rèn)識(shí)的?是當(dāng)做謀生的手段,還是當(dāng)做事業(yè)?如果是要成就一番事業(yè),我的感受是,只有把個(gè)人的追求與國(guó)家的發(fā)展、集體的榮譽(yù)凝結(jié)在一起時(shí),才會(huì)更有動(dòng)力,更有價(jià)值。聽(tīng)起來(lái)是不是有點(diǎn)空?但我身有體會(huì)。

1994年7月,我剛剛進(jìn)入法院工作。一次,跟同事去修自行車(chē),修車(chē)的師傅問(wèn)我們?cè)谀墓ぷ?,我們回?ldquo;法院”。正埋頭修車(chē)的師傅抬頭望了我們一眼,意味深長(zhǎng)地說(shuō)“法院?法院好??!”這個(gè)好,聽(tīng)得我很難受。我知道,當(dāng)時(shí)流行著一句順口溜“大蓋帽,兩頭翹,吃完原告吃被告”,那就是法官在公眾中的形象。當(dāng)時(shí),我就想,雖然我個(gè)人是渺小的,但是要從我做起,我相信,通過(guò)無(wú)數(shù)個(gè)我的努力,會(huì)改變社會(huì)對(duì)法官的認(rèn)知,總會(huì)有一天公眾會(huì)把法官當(dāng)做“公正的化身”。

雖然成為一名好法官是我的職業(yè)夢(mèng)想,但是剛剛參加工作的我,并不了解自己從事的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)審判工作的意義。當(dāng)時(shí)庭長(zhǎng)的一句話,讓我時(shí)刻牢記心中,讓我能在18年來(lái)的工作中認(rèn)認(rèn)真真對(duì)待每一起案件。他說(shuō):“知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)無(wú)小案”。在工作中我逐漸認(rèn)識(shí)到,一項(xiàng)專(zhuān)利可能影響一個(gè)行業(yè)的發(fā)展,一件商標(biāo)可以決定一個(gè)企業(yè)的生死存亡。作為知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)法官,我們不僅需要平衡當(dāng)事人雙方的利益,甚至要考慮我們的判決對(duì)于科技創(chuàng)新、文化發(fā)展的影響,我們肩上的擔(dān)子很重。有了這份責(zé)任感,我才有了前進(jìn)的動(dòng)力。

__年,我獲得了公派留學(xué)英國(guó)的機(jī)會(huì)。留學(xué)時(shí)的一些經(jīng)歷,也使自己受到很多觸動(dòng)。初見(jiàn)教知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)法的教授,當(dāng)我介紹自己是一名從事知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)審判的中國(guó)法官時(shí),教授不以為然地?fù)u搖頭說(shuō):中國(guó)?中國(guó)有知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保護(hù)嗎?雖然中國(guó)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)專(zhuān)業(yè)司法保護(hù)已經(jīng)開(kāi)展了7年,但是國(guó)外對(duì)中國(guó)不了解,不認(rèn)可。那一刻,我的心被刺痛了。一種從未有過(guò)的強(qiáng)烈的使命感和責(zé)任感油然而生,也就在那一刻,我告訴自己一定要更加發(fā)奮圖強(qiáng),要通過(guò)我審理的案件,讓外國(guó)的當(dāng)事人及司法同行們,真正看到中國(guó)司法的發(fā)展與進(jìn)步,領(lǐng)略到中國(guó)法官的素質(zhì)與風(fēng)采。

這些經(jīng)歷,時(shí)刻會(huì)提醒我作為法官、作為中國(guó)的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)法官的職責(zé)和使命。正是有了這種信念,我才能不懈努力和堅(jiān)持。

回想起來(lái),如果我僅僅是把工作當(dāng)成謀生的手段,或者僅僅是當(dāng)成自己的事業(yè),是很難堅(jiān)持下來(lái)的。比如,當(dāng)你沒(méi)有了生存的壓力,當(dāng)你生病,當(dāng)你因生了小孩或者家人生病生活負(fù)擔(dān)過(guò)重,當(dāng)你感到工作壓力過(guò)大時(shí),你的惰性必然會(huì)滋生。如果把工作完全當(dāng)成是自己的事情,那你隨時(shí)都可以放棄。而當(dāng)你看到你工作的社會(huì)價(jià)值,當(dāng)你發(fā)現(xiàn)任何理由都不能讓你在工作中得過(guò)且過(guò)時(shí),我相信,大家會(huì)跟我一樣,會(huì)選擇讓自我價(jià)值與社會(huì)價(jià)值一起實(shí)現(xiàn)。

所以,只有當(dāng)你感受到職責(zé)和使命時(shí),你才能做到堅(jiān)持夢(mèng)想,永不退卻。

第5篇 馬云勵(lì)志演講稿:哪里有抱怨,哪里就是機(jī)會(huì)

首先恭喜大家,祝福大家,這是中國(guó)最了不起的一所大學(xué)之一,盡管在我心里面中國(guó)最好的大學(xué)是杭州師范大學(xué)。大家覺(jué)不覺(jué)得學(xué)校的知識(shí)總是不夠用,但是社會(huì)上的知識(shí)是取之不盡的。杭師大給了我是學(xué)習(xí)的能力,獲取知識(shí)的能力,清華很好,但是清華的知識(shí)永遠(yuǎn)是不夠用的,而你們今天所得到這個(gè)能力是取得自身的能力。我看到今天那么多陽(yáng)光燦爛的笑臉,30年后不忘初心,依舊是這樣的笑臉,這才是成功。

我今天在這談一下我的感受和體驗(yàn),高考我并不算很成功,考了幾年,我數(shù)學(xué)1分那是真的,第二年考19分,第三年考了89分,但我從來(lái)沒(méi)放棄過(guò)。

我給大家一個(gè)提醒,一個(gè)建議,提醒是今天你們獲得中國(guó)最榮譽(yù)的畢業(yè)書(shū),但是那只是一張紙,只證明這四年或者六年,或者八年,你父母為你付了很多的學(xué)費(fèi),這是一張學(xué)費(fèi)的通知單而已,告訴你付了那么多學(xué)費(fèi),花了那么多時(shí)間做了很多的模擬考,這僅僅是模擬考而已。也給大家一個(gè)建議,如果你們畢業(yè)于清華大學(xué),請(qǐng)大家用欣賞眼光看看杭師大的同學(xué),如果你畢業(yè)于杭師大,請(qǐng)用欣賞的眼光看看自己,因?yàn)檫@社會(huì)上永遠(yuǎn)充滿(mǎn)變化,永遠(yuǎn)充滿(mǎn)著各種奇跡。

人生最后不管今天多么的成功,剛才學(xué)會(huì)計(jì)的學(xué)生說(shuō)的,你最后死的時(shí)候才能夠看看你到底贏了還是虧了,所以我覺(jué)得我們剛剛開(kāi)始起步。我也相信今天畢業(yè)以后在座很多人都很擔(dān)心,各種各樣的擔(dān)心,擔(dān)心畢業(yè)以后我是學(xué)經(jīng)管的,能當(dāng)老板嗎?我能找到一個(gè)好老板嗎?能夠找到好公司嗎?其實(shí)這些擔(dān)心都有,每天都有。我剛創(chuàng)業(yè)的時(shí)候天天擔(dān)心能不能活下來(lái),到后來(lái)我擔(dān)心這個(gè)公司會(huì)不會(huì)長(zhǎng)大,到今天長(zhǎng)大了我擔(dān)心它會(huì)倒下,現(xiàn)在的擔(dān)心比以前多多了,我們每時(shí)每刻處于這份擔(dān)心中,擔(dān)心很正常,不擔(dān)心才不正常。所以我想給大家的建議,也是真實(shí)的感受,這30年來(lái),我天天在擔(dān)心,但是我只是擔(dān)心自己不夠努力,我擔(dān)心自己沒(méi)看清楚災(zāi)難,我擔(dān)心自己沒(méi)把握好機(jī)遇。但有一點(diǎn)不用擔(dān)心,你們一定會(huì)會(huì)到眼淚、冤枉、誤區(qū)、倒霉各種事件,一定會(huì)碰上,這個(gè)不用擔(dān)心,你碰到這個(gè)就是早知道會(huì)來(lái)的。

另外這是一個(gè)糾結(jié)的時(shí)代,在座所有的人今天畢業(yè)于糾結(jié)的時(shí)代,這個(gè)時(shí)代看起來(lái)充滿(mǎn)著懷疑,充滿(mǎn)著各種的不信任,學(xué)校的老師對(duì)學(xué)生是不信任的,學(xué)生對(duì)老師不信任,媒體對(duì)大眾不信任,大眾對(duì)媒體不信任,甚至有各種的擔(dān)憂,老百姓對(duì)政府也有各種的不信任。這世界看起來(lái)缺乏各種各樣的機(jī)會(huì),但這世界看起來(lái)又有各種各樣的機(jī)會(huì),這世界看起來(lái)年輕人似乎是可以無(wú)所不能,什么事情都可以做,但看起來(lái)年輕人什么事情又都做不了。

所以我覺(jué)得這是一個(gè)糾結(jié)的時(shí)代,很恭喜大家來(lái)到了一個(gè)很了不起的糾結(jié)時(shí)代,因?yàn)榧m結(jié)是一種變革,因?yàn)槲覀冋谶M(jìn)入一個(gè)變革非??焖俚臅r(shí)代。如果沒(méi)有變革就不會(huì)有阿里巴巴的今天,阿里巴巴,馬云有今天就是因?yàn)榍?0年中國(guó)的變革。

但是我想跟大家講我心里的感受,未來(lái)30年中國(guó)的變革會(huì)更大,機(jī)會(huì)更大。從我這個(gè)行業(yè)來(lái)講,這世界從it正在走向dt,這兩個(gè)字的差異其實(shí)背后的思想、文化、社會(huì)方方面面都發(fā)生很大的差異。絕大部分的人今天站在it的角度看待世界,什么是it?it是以我為主,方便我管理,dt是以別人為主,強(qiáng)化別人,支持別人,dt思想是只有別人成功的你才會(huì)成功,這是一個(gè)巨大的思想的轉(zhuǎn)變,有這個(gè)思想轉(zhuǎn)變產(chǎn)生技術(shù)的轉(zhuǎn)變,技術(shù)的轉(zhuǎn)型。

所以我想跟大家講,所有的變革都是年輕人的時(shí)代。當(dāng)然,麻煩也會(huì)更多,但今天我看到那么多人以后,我在想70%、80%要成為阿里巴巴的員工就好了,我就不用那么擔(dān)心了,真的。未來(lái)30年我想跟隨大家,是你們會(huì)改變這個(gè)世界,是你們會(huì)把握這個(gè)機(jī)會(huì)。糾結(jié)、變革都是年輕人的機(jī)遇,也是這個(gè)時(shí)代的機(jī)遇。

不管你怎么看,我們經(jīng)常說(shuō)生意越來(lái)越難做,其實(shí)生意從來(lái)就沒(méi)有好做的。年輕人糾結(jié)今天it行業(yè)阿里巴巴、騰訊、百度搞去了,我們剛出來(lái)也覺(jué)得機(jī)會(huì)給 ibm、思科、微軟拿走了,但是你要相信,30年以后的今天中國(guó)企業(yè)一定比今天好,一定比明天大,30年后富人一定比今天多,30年以后的文化一定比今天豐富多彩,30年以后的年輕人一定超越我們,這就是世界的變化。我爺爺說(shuō)我爸不如他,我爸說(shuō)我不如他,我覺(jué)得我爸比我爺爺厲害,我比我爸厲害,你們會(huì)比我們厲害。

在變革的時(shí)代我也特別想給大家分享一下我自己的經(jīng)歷,前30年我是堅(jiān)持三樣?xùn)|西,我也希望大家去反思和思考這三樣對(duì)你是否有用,就是三個(gè)堅(jiān)持。第一永遠(yuǎn)堅(jiān)持理想主義,第二要堅(jiān)持擔(dān)當(dāng)精神,第三要堅(jiān)持樂(lè)觀的正能量。

我永遠(yuǎn)相信“相信”,我相信未來(lái),我相信別人超過(guò)相信自己。其實(shí)阿里巴巴我數(shù)學(xué)不好,管理也沒(méi)學(xué)過(guò),會(huì)計(jì)也不懂,連預(yù)算報(bào)表到今天為止,財(cái)務(wù)報(bào)表我也看不懂,這是真話,我并沒(méi)有覺(jué)得這是丟人的,承認(rèn)自己不懂并不丟人,不懂裝懂很丟人。我到今天為止沒(méi)到淘寶上購(gòu)過(guò)一件物,我沒(méi)用過(guò)支付寶,因?yàn)槲也恢涝撛趺从?,但我耳朵豎起來(lái)我老是在聽(tīng)支付寶到底好還是不好,因?yàn)槲矣枚嗔宋視?huì)捍衛(wèi)自己的產(chǎn)品,但是我不用,你永遠(yuǎn)擔(dān)憂自己,因?yàn)橹挥袚?dān)憂讓我晚上睡不著覺(jué),只有我睡不著覺(jué),這公司才睡得著覺(jué)。我們看了《中國(guó)合伙人》,這個(gè)電影很好,但是這個(gè)電影有很大的問(wèn)題,男主人公老哭,其實(shí)創(chuàng)業(yè)者是不哭的,是讓別人哭。所以我們永遠(yuǎn)相信未來(lái),相信年輕人,相信別人,我如果不相信別人,阿里巴巴的程序?qū)懖怀鰜?lái),我不相信別人今天市場(chǎng)不會(huì)做的這么大,我們只是告訴大家什么是我們要堅(jiān)持的。

第二個(gè)要有擔(dān)當(dāng)精神。支付寶今天存在巨大的爭(zhēng)議,其實(shí)在__年準(zhǔn)備做支付寶,做阿里金融的時(shí)候,我知道有一天會(huì)碰到這樣的麻煩,我也糾結(jié)過(guò)。后來(lái)在達(dá)沃斯會(huì)議上聽(tīng)很多的政治家、企業(yè)家在談?wù)?,什么是?dān)當(dāng)。你覺(jué)得是對(duì)的,對(duì)社會(huì)發(fā)展有利,你真相信,勇敢的擔(dān)當(dāng)起來(lái)去做。我記得那次會(huì)議以后,我在達(dá)沃斯打電話給公司說(shuō),立刻、現(xiàn)在、馬上去做,如果出問(wèn)題我愿意去解決。去年年初在阿里金融內(nèi)部的會(huì)議上,我跟所有的同事講,如果我們對(duì)中國(guó)金融改革有激活,有創(chuàng)新,如果基于這個(gè)有人要付出代價(jià),我來(lái)。我相信大家如果真的帶著完善這個(gè)社會(huì)的希望,激活金融,服務(wù)實(shí)業(yè),穩(wěn)妥創(chuàng)新,我們一定越走越好,因?yàn)樯鐣?huì)總會(huì)越來(lái)越清晰。

今天社會(huì)缺乏理想主義,缺乏擔(dān)當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)候更需要理想主義,更需要擔(dān)當(dāng),不僅僅是你需要,不僅僅是社會(huì)需要,社會(huì)最缺的東西是最稀缺的資源,做那些別人不愿意做的事情,最需要的事情才有成就。有人說(shuō)這個(gè)社會(huì)非常大,每天淘寶有幾千萬(wàn)筆交易在進(jìn)行,幾千萬(wàn)人把自己的包裹送給一個(gè)完全不相信的人,交給快遞不相信的人,輾轉(zhuǎn)反復(fù)幾千公里送到另外一個(gè)人,這是以前不可想象的,這是我們今天年輕人在以不同的方法,在以技術(shù)的方法在表達(dá)“信任”她真正存在。

第三個(gè)我希望大家堅(jiān)持正能量,樂(lè)觀的看待問(wèn)題。我是犯過(guò)無(wú)數(shù)錯(cuò)誤的人,今天阿里在前面__年內(nèi)至少有100多次滅頂之災(zāi)都過(guò)來(lái)了,可以這么講今天再來(lái)一遍,我們今天的人比那時(shí)候的多,我們今天的人知識(shí)和能力比那時(shí)候強(qiáng),但是重新再走一遍我們一定走不出來(lái)。但是我們?cè)趺醋叱鰜?lái)的?我們堅(jiān)持樂(lè)觀,我們相信這個(gè)世界你不成功有人會(huì)成功,我們相信阿里巴巴,淘寶能做得出來(lái),一定有人做得出來(lái),我們相信有人花更多的時(shí)間在學(xué)習(xí)這些東西,只是看我們是否夠運(yùn)氣。所以我后來(lái)給自己的座右銘,也是給所有年輕人,給我同事的座右銘,“今天很殘酷,明天更殘酷,后天很美好,但是絕大部分人死在明天晚上”。這就是殘酷的生活。所以你今天必須很努力,才能面對(duì)明天的殘酷,明天你必須很努力,才有可能看到后天的太陽(yáng),但是絕大部分人看不到太陽(yáng)的。你光努力還不夠,還有運(yùn)氣,運(yùn)氣從哪里來(lái)?運(yùn)氣就是把自己好的時(shí)候多想想別人,自己不好的時(shí)候多檢查檢查自己,我相信會(huì)走過(guò)來(lái)。

今天我看到大家的微笑,這世界上最有力量的武器是用微笑化解所有的問(wèn)題,我永遠(yuǎn)面帶笑容,盡管我內(nèi)傷很重。在中國(guó)要誕生了這么一家企業(yè),在中國(guó)這樣的市場(chǎng)環(huán)境下誕生,阿里巴巴是一個(gè)偶然,也是一個(gè)必然,因?yàn)槭袌?chǎng)機(jī)制,因?yàn)橐粠湍贻p人相信我,我們?cè)谑袌?chǎng)上能夠做出這樣的東西來(lái)。

在座的每一個(gè)人你們都經(jīng)歷了無(wú)數(shù)的挑戰(zhàn),我跟公司同事講,很多人說(shuō)沒(méi)有機(jī)會(huì),我們從來(lái)就沒(méi)贏過(guò),我說(shuō)你贏過(guò),在出生之前贏的是幾億顆精子和卵子賽跑出來(lái)的,來(lái)到這個(gè)世界你就成功了,來(lái)到這個(gè)世界你們又經(jīng)過(guò)無(wú)數(shù)的考試進(jìn)入了清華大學(xué),獲得了今天的畢業(yè)證書(shū),你們已經(jīng)有良好的起步,良好的機(jī)會(huì),有很好的基礎(chǔ)。但未必有基礎(chǔ)的人會(huì)贏,未必你今天跑得快的人還是能走的很快,這世界就像足球一樣,是圓的。我沒(méi)有想過(guò)杭州師范大學(xué)的人可以當(dāng)經(jīng)管學(xué)院顧問(wèn),感謝錢(qián)院長(zhǎng)給我的信任。世界是圓的,所以大家記住,今天你最好,未必明天最好,今天你最差,社會(huì)給了你很多的機(jī)會(huì),只要你把握,只要努力總會(huì)有機(jī)會(huì)。

最后給大家一個(gè)建議,永遠(yuǎn)相信你的對(duì)手不在你邊上,在你邊上的都是你的榜樣,哪怕這個(gè)人你特討厭。很多年以前我說(shuō),我用望遠(yuǎn)鏡都沒(méi)有找到過(guò)對(duì)手,人家說(shuō)你好驕傲。其實(shí)他們沒(méi)有聽(tīng)我下一句,我望遠(yuǎn)鏡找的不是對(duì)手,找的是榜樣。你的對(duì)手可能在以色列,可能在你不知道什么地方,他比你更用功,你今天獲得了清華的畢業(yè),不學(xué)習(xí)了,你不讀書(shū)了,因?yàn)槟阌X(jué)得我畢業(yè)于清華,而那個(gè)人畢業(yè)于杭師大,他不斷在學(xué)習(xí),但他不斷在努力,不斷在進(jìn)取。所以這一點(diǎn)是我希望給大家講的,戰(zhàn)勝你自己,這是真正的英雄。

我想我們?nèi)祟?lèi)今天共同面臨巨大的挑戰(zhàn),就是知識(shí)和教育跟不上技術(shù)的發(fā)展,但這正是我們的機(jī)會(huì),什么是抱怨,哪里有抱怨,哪里就是機(jī)會(huì)。中國(guó)電子商務(wù)發(fā)展的這么好,跟阿里巴巴其實(shí)沒(méi)什么關(guān)系,是中國(guó)原來(lái)經(jīng)濟(jì)的基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施太差,我們相信了這件事情,走了十年而已。今天中國(guó)的電子商務(wù)超越了美國(guó)電子商務(wù)的總和,原因不是因?yàn)槊绹?guó)不努力,而是美國(guó)昨天的基礎(chǔ)太好。美國(guó)沒(méi)有互聯(lián)網(wǎng)金融,是因?yàn)槊绹?guó)的金融環(huán)境實(shí)在太好,根本插不進(jìn)去,中國(guó)的金融環(huán)境不太好,才給我們機(jī)會(huì)。所有昨天不好的事情都是你的機(jī)會(huì),別人在抱怨的時(shí)候才是你看到機(jī)會(huì)所在。阿里有一樣?xùn)|西也是我想給大家分享的,我們花30年走到今天,不是3年,我們明白一個(gè)道理,什么是戰(zhàn)略,就是做未來(lái)最重要的事情,堅(jiān)持理想,堅(jiān)持正能量,堅(jiān)持樂(lè)觀,堅(jiān)持腳踏實(shí)地。我們從來(lái)就沒(méi)有做成過(guò)一件事情,今天想做明天成功,或者今年做明年成功的事情,因?yàn)檫@樣的機(jī)會(huì)永遠(yuǎn)輪不到我。今天你們最大的資本是年輕,因?yàn)槟贻p你可以花十年時(shí)間打敗阿里巴巴,打敗淘寶,如果你有這個(gè)想法,也許只要五年,如果你希望明年就打敗,你可能一輩子都打敗不了。

下午第一節(jié)課是美術(shù)課,我剛把畫(huà)畫(huà)了一半,下去抱作業(yè)的課代表叫我、周澤陽(yáng)和余熙瑋下去,說(shuō)英語(yǔ)老師找我們有事。我們幾乎是狂跑下去的。到了二樓辦公室,英語(yǔ)老師grace(英文名)在椅子上轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)來(lái),問(wèn)我們:“你們?cè)覆辉敢獗硌葸@個(gè)節(jié)目?一首英文歌,給你們聽(tīng)一下。”說(shuō)完,她在電腦上搜索了一下,放給我們聽(tīng)。我沒(méi)聽(tīng)懂一句,畢竟我還沒(méi)學(xué)嘛。我們都猶豫了一會(huì)兒。其他二人表示同意,我則想了想:“嗯,那幅畫(huà)還沒(méi)畫(huà)完呢,歌又那么難,信息課又上不了了,還是不答應(yīng)吧。”于是,我否定了。

第二次世界大戰(zhàn)結(jié)束后不久,戰(zhàn)勝?lài)?guó)決定成立一個(gè)處理世界事務(wù)的聯(lián)合國(guó)??稍谑裁吹胤浇⒖偛?,一時(shí)間頗費(fèi)思量。

地點(diǎn)理應(yīng)選在一座大城市,可在任何一座繁華都市購(gòu)買(mǎi)龐大的地皮都需要很大一筆資金,而對(duì)于剛剛起步的聯(lián)合過(guò)來(lái)說(shuō),每一分錢(qián)都肩負(fù)重任。

就在各國(guó)首腦們商量來(lái)商量去的時(shí)候,洛克菲勒家族聽(tīng)說(shuō)了這件事,立刻出資870萬(wàn)美金在紐約買(mǎi)下一塊地皮,在人們的驚詫中無(wú)條件的捐給了聯(lián)合國(guó)。

聯(lián)合國(guó)總部大樓建起來(lái)之后,四周的地價(jià)立刻飆升起來(lái),洛克菲勒家族在買(mǎi)下捐贈(zèng)給聯(lián)合國(guó)的那塊地皮時(shí),也買(mǎi)下了與這塊地皮毗鄰的全部地皮。沒(méi)有人能計(jì)算出洛克菲勒家族憑借毗鄰聯(lián)合國(guó)的地皮獲得了多少個(gè)870萬(wàn)美金。

《80后女孩破產(chǎn),擦干眼淚重來(lái)》

蔣開(kāi)平出生在永川一個(gè)農(nóng)民家庭。20__年,他職高畢業(yè)后父親拿出下苦力攢的3萬(wàn)元錢(qián),讓他在永川城區(qū)開(kāi)了一家小服裝店,但生意不好。

20__年,一位同學(xué)跟她聊天,說(shuō)她有個(gè)親戚抒州長(zhǎng)青服裝廠的高級(jí)管理人員,該廠生產(chǎn)的服裝有一部分工序需拿到外廠加工,如繡花,縫制裝飾品等。

隨即,蔣開(kāi)平只身到廣州一家服裝廠學(xué)藝。他負(fù)責(zé)技術(shù),出任廠長(zhǎng),專(zhuān)門(mén)承接廣州長(zhǎng)青廠業(yè)務(wù)。由于她對(duì)技術(shù)要求高,獲得大量業(yè)務(wù),廠子很快由幾名工人發(fā)展到50多名工人。

不久,她成為工廠最大股東,并將廠子遷至四川瀘州市城區(qū),并更名為俊逸服裝廠,擁有工人500多名,專(zhuān)做外貿(mào)生意。當(dāng)年她的服裝廠年產(chǎn)值就超過(guò)500萬(wàn)元。

然而,正當(dāng)蔣開(kāi)平雄心勃勃地編織財(cái)富夢(mèng)時(shí),金融風(fēng)暴來(lái)啦。

當(dāng)時(shí)廠里承接的訂單逐漸縮水,特別是最大的客戶(hù)-------新加坡一架服裝廠,訂單量銳減90%,交出去的貨還收不到錢(qián),去年3月,他打電話到對(duì)方公司,發(fā)現(xiàn)電話已經(jīng)停機(jī),趕到新加坡,該公司已宣布破產(chǎn),且已錯(cuò)過(guò)處置資產(chǎn)的公示期。這下,她的150多萬(wàn)貨款全沒(méi)啦。與此同時(shí),廠里的國(guó)外訂單全部取消,工廠苦撐兩個(gè)月后,被迫破產(chǎn)。

一天,父母的開(kāi)導(dǎo)激發(fā)了蔣開(kāi)平的靈感——現(xiàn)在,國(guó)家正大力扶持農(nóng)民養(yǎng)豬,不但免費(fèi)提供技術(shù),母豬意外死亡,還能得到補(bǔ)償,何不辦一個(gè)養(yǎng)豬場(chǎng)呢?最終,在父母的支持下,她的養(yǎng)豬場(chǎng)建成了。今年春節(jié)前,養(yǎng)豬場(chǎng)共出欄生豬700多頭,一次性收回成本70多萬(wàn)元。今年,她的養(yǎng)豬場(chǎng)生豬出欄量預(yù)計(jì)1300多頭,收回成本并贏利,指日可待。

我們不能等待上天的恩賜,而需要向上天索取——這就是我們的任務(wù)!

記得小時(shí)候,聽(tīng)別人講過(guò)這樣一個(gè)故事:一個(gè)名為松下公司的外企,招一名會(huì)計(jì),又因?yàn)檫@是一家跨國(guó)性的大公司,所以這是許多年輕人向往的地方,終于到了面試的那一天,公司里人山人海,經(jīng)過(guò)嚴(yán)格的筆試之后,又經(jīng)過(guò)細(xì)心的篩選,最后只剩下三位非常出色的女大學(xué)生了,經(jīng)理讓他們明天再來(lái)進(jìn)行口試。到了第二天,三位女大學(xué)生都穿著漂亮的衣服來(lái)了,而經(jīng)理卻一人發(fā)給他們一件衣服和一個(gè)黑皮包,對(duì)他們說(shuō)“現(xiàn)在我所給你們的每一件衣服上都有一塊污跡,你們必須在八點(diǎn)十五之前到總經(jīng)理室去進(jìn)行口試,并且我提醒你們一句,總經(jīng)理喜歡干凈整潔、落落大方的人,你們身上的污跡最好被讓總經(jīng)理發(fā)現(xiàn)否則你會(huì)被淘汰的。”

thank you. (applause.) thank you all so much. thank you. well, you guys rest yourselves. you’ve been very busy. (laughter.) you’re being spoken to a lot. i hear my husband was here. (laughter.) but it is truly a pleasure to be here with all of you today, and i want to thank you so much for joining us for this year’s college opportunity day of action. you should be proud. we’re already proud of you, and this day has just already been a tremendous success.

of course i want to start by thanking homero. i mean, he’s just an amazing story, an amazingperson, and i’m grateful for that wonderful introduction. we have to give him another round ofapplause. (applause.) a clear reminder of why we’re here today and what we’re working for.

i also want to recognize the jack kent cooke foundation, as well as the lumina foundation, forhelping to make this event possible. let’s give them a round of applause as well. (applause.)

and of course, as we come together to talk about the importance of college counseling, iespecially want to recognize all of the school counselors here today. yes! (applause.) you canraise the roof for yourselves. a little raising the roof. (laughter.) but i think we can all agreethat all of our counselors, all of you have one of the hardest, but most important jobs in oureducation system, yet too often you don’t get the resources, the support or the appreciationthat you need and deserve. and that has serious consequences not just for our kids, but forour country.

i mean, let’s be honest with ourselves – when it comes to college counseling in our nation’sschools, there are two worlds. as many of you know, while the american school counselorassociation recommends no more than 250 students per counselor, the national average is onecounselor for every 471 students. so too many of our kids go through high school with little, ifany, real guidance on how to get into college.

they don’t know what classes to take, or how to prepare for the sat or the act. no one helpsthem decide which colleges to apply to. no one reviews their applications. and plenty of kidshave no idea that they’re eligible for financial aid, so they assume they just can’t afford college,and they don’t even bother to apply.

now, that’s one world. the other world is much smaller – it’s a world of schools where thequestion isn’t where students are going to college, but – or whether they’re going to college,but where. kids in this world start preparing for college long before they even start high school.and from the first day of freshman year, they’ve been shepherded through every step of theprocess. they’ve got sat and act prep courses, they take those tests again and again toimprove their scores. counselors have much smaller caseloads, and they walk kids throughevery deadline, they edit every draft of their essays. honestly, when barack and i talk aboutthis, we look at the kind of college counseling many of the kids are getting today and we wonderhow we ever managed to get ourselves into college.

so the fact is that right now, a small number of students are getting every advantage in thecollege admissions race, while millions of other students who are just as talented can’t evenbegin to compete. (applause.) and as the college presidents here all know, the result is thatcolleges aren’t always getting all of the very best students. they’re getting the students whocan best afford to succeed in this system. and we are leaving behind so many bright, hungry,promise-filled kids. we are depriving ourselves of so much human potential in this country –from the scientific discoveries these kids might make, to the businesses that they might build,to the leadership that they might one day show in our communities.

we’re missing all of that. we’re also losing all of that simply because we aren’t making the basicinvestment in their future today, and that’s a tragedy. it’s a tragedy for our country. it’s atragedy for those kids and for their families, because we all know – we know – that if you wantto secure a decent-paying job in today’s economy, a high school diploma simply isn’t enough.

so unlike 40 or 50 years ago, higher education is no longer just for kids in the top quarter orthe top half of the class, it has to be for everyone. so we are going to need a college-counselingsystem that reflects this new reality. (applause.)

now, that’s easier said than done. we know that this isn’t going to happen overnight. we knowthat states and school systems are facing all kinds of budget challenges. but one of my coremessages to students through my reach higher initiative is that no matter what is going on attheir school or in their family, i’ve been trying to tell kids that no matter what resources theymay have or not have, that they still need to take responsibility for their education. i tell themthat they need to do the work to reach out to teachers who can help them. they need toresearch schools in their communities on their own. they need to find that fafsa form onlineand fill it out.

so my message to all of you is the same: we all need to step up and do what we can with theresources we have, especially when it comes to supporting our school counselors. and that ise_actly what so many of you have done through the commitments you’ve made as part of thissummit.

universities across the country have pledged to create college and career-readiness courses intheir masters programs for school counselors. school districts are partnering with nonprofits andcolleges to provide training for counselors once they’re in our schools. nonprofits are steppingup to improve student-and-counselor ratios and bringing recent graduates into schools toserve as role models and mentors.

and these are just the highlights. altogether, these commitments represent tens of millions ofdollars that will impact hundreds of schools and countless students. these are outstandingcommitments, and we need more efforts like these all across this country. every one of us has arole to play.

so for the superintendents here today, i know you all are struggling with so many demandsunder such tight budgets, but can you do more to support your counselors? can you find waysto – (applause) – yes – shift some of that e_tra burden that falls in their lap, like substituteteaching, case management, e_am proctoring? can you give them more time to actuallycounsel students?

to the college presidents here, can you do even more to make college counseling part of yourmission to get the very best students to your schools? and can the foundations and nonprofitorganizations help in that work? can you rethink the college admissions process to find more ofthose students who’ve got what it takes to succeed but haven’t had the chance to develop theirpotential? can you create college prep centers in your communities and ensure that test-prepclasses are affordable for all of our kids?

and for those of you who are concerned that perhaps this type of involvement might falselyraise hopes of admission to your school – because i’ve heard that as well – just consider the factthat while many of the kids you help might not be the right fit for your college or university,but they will be the right fit for another school, and maybe that other school will help preparestudents for admission to your school. (applause.)

so this is really a collective effort, and everyone can benefit. and as you all step up to take onthese issues, really, i really want to hear about what you’re doing. and that’s one of the reasonswhy i recently announced two new reach higher commencement challenges. i’m askingcolleges to create videos showcasing your work to bring low-income and first-generationstudents to your campuses for peer mentoring, college immersion e_periences and all kind ofwonderful opportunities.

and for the high schools, i want to see videos about what you’re doing to increase your fafsacompletion rates to help more students afford college. and for those schools with the winningvideos, i just might pay a visit around commencement time, if you know what i mean – (laughter) – to let you know how impressed i am.

so i hope that you all will go to reachhigher.gov and get more information, because i’m eagerto see what you all are doing. i know you’re going to do some great things. you see, i know thatthe smallest, most local efforts can make such a difference in the lives of our young people.

and i’m thinking today of a school called la cueva high school in albuquerque, new me_ico. afew years ago, the college counseling staff at that school met with a young woman namedroberta gutierrez during her sophomore year. roberta was an e_cellent student, so they urgedher to take the psat and come up with a list of colleges that she wanted to apply to. now, whileroberta took the test, she never came up with that list – and i’m sure you know why.

but then, at the beginning of roberta’s school year, her counselors learned that she had beennamed a national merit semi-finalist with a psat score in the top 1 percent of the entire state.so the counselors – yes, good stuff – (applause) – the counselors immediately informedroberta that she would be eligible for thousands of dollars in scholarships. and roberta, ofcourse, she was shocked. she told them that she never made the list of colleges because herfamily lived from paycheck to paycheck, so she didn’t think she could afford tuition. she toldthem that just to pay the $15 fee to take the psat, she had to skip lunch for a week.

and after meeting with roberta, the counseling staff decided that no student at their schoolwould ever again have to choose between eating and taking a test that opens the doors tocollege. so they now hold fundraisers – yes. (applause.) they hold fundraisers throughout theschool year to ensure that low-income students can take the psat for free. and they go out oftheir way to tell every family about the financial aid resources that are available for college.

and as for roberta, she is now in her junior year on a full scholarship at the university of newme_ico, and she’s planning to get a phd in psychology – yes. (applause.)

you all know these stories. there are so many kids just like roberta all across this country, andthey’re bright. these kids are determined. these are the kids who have everything it takes tosucceed if we would just give them that chance. and that’s what the counselors and leaders atla cueva high school did for roberta – they gave her a shot at the future she deserved.

and just think about the ripple effect that those counselors will have in transforming just onestudent’s life. think about the difference roberta can make when she gets that phd. think of allthe patients she might treat, all the groundbreaking research she might do. think of the rolemodel that she will be – she already is – inspiring countless young people just like her topursue their dreams.

there are millions of young people like roberta all across this country, and they are counting onus to step up for them. they’re counting on us to give them opportunities worthy of theirpromise. and that is e_actly what all of you are doing every single day. that is the purpose ofthe commitments that you’ve made as part of this summit. that’s why i’m proud and honoredto be here.

and i want to close today simply by saying thank you, truly. thank you. thank you for yourpassion. thank you for your dedication. thank you for your tremendous contributions to thiscountry. i look forward to continuing our work together. we got a lot more stuff to do. and icannot wait to see all that you are going to achieve in the months and years ahead.

尊敬的各位領(lǐng)導(dǎo)、各位評(píng)委、同志們:

大家好!今天我懷著激動(dòng)的心情,登上了這個(gè)特別的舞臺(tái),感謝組織給我提供了一次,難得的學(xué)習(xí)、鍛煉和參與競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的機(jī)會(huì)。首先做下自我介紹,我是來(lái)自×信用社的××,2007年參加工作,現(xiàn)為×信用社會(huì)計(jì),擬競(jìng)聘信用社主任。

這兩個(gè)字對(duì)于我來(lái)說(shuō)非常的親切,那里有著我信合事業(yè)的啟蒙。在a一年的會(huì)計(jì)工作中,使我的業(yè)務(wù)水平有了長(zhǎng)足的提高,加上我對(duì)×鄉(xiāng)已經(jīng)非常了解,相信自身已經(jīng)能夠勝任b信用社主任一職,同時(shí),b的同事都是我的老師,我在那里展開(kāi)工作將如魚(yú)得水,干起工作將游刃有余,相信干出的工作成績(jī)和今年屬相一樣:牛!

如果這次競(jìng)聘有幸成為b信用社主任,我將在聯(lián)社的正確領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下,圍繞各項(xiàng)目標(biāo)任務(wù),同全社員工攜手同心,不斷創(chuàng)新工作思路和方法,努力完成聯(lián)社下達(dá)的各項(xiàng)任務(wù)。現(xiàn)對(duì)工作思路做以下闡述:

一是對(duì)自己嚴(yán)格要求,提高自身業(yè)務(wù)素質(zhì)和管理水平。充分利用業(yè)余時(shí)間學(xué)習(xí)金融、黨政知識(shí)和科學(xué)文化知識(shí),來(lái)提升自身修養(yǎng)。同時(shí),做到“嚴(yán)于利己,寬以待人”,做好全社的表率作用,以熱情真誠(chéng)的心來(lái)贏得客戶(hù),以坦誠(chéng)寬容的心來(lái)團(tuán)結(jié)同事,以高效出色的工作來(lái)回報(bào)組織。

二是積極與聯(lián)社溝通,及時(shí)掌握工作動(dòng)態(tài)和學(xué)習(xí)了解聯(lián)社新的文件精神;同時(shí)定期與同事交心談心,經(jīng)常展開(kāi)批評(píng)與自我批評(píng),發(fā)動(dòng)他們積極獻(xiàn)言獻(xiàn)策,發(fā)揮他們的才能,讓其才盡其所用,為b信用社的發(fā)展添磚加瓦。

三是做好組織存款的工作。b地處自貢南部邊錐,與宜賓接壤,主動(dòng)積極吸收宜賓存款,和發(fā)揚(yáng)走村串戶(hù)的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng),做到經(jīng)常與存款大戶(hù)聯(lián)系,為其提供方便,如提供零錢(qián)、更換破鈔等;同時(shí),把存款重點(diǎn)放在加強(qiáng)優(yōu)質(zhì)服務(wù),做到老客戶(hù)不走,新客戶(hù)常來(lái);其次,積極爭(zhēng)取地方黨政的支持,做好旺季資金回籠工作,減少存款外流,牢牢站穩(wěn)農(nóng)村金融市場(chǎng)。

四是加強(qiáng)信貸投放力度,努力提高信貸資產(chǎn)質(zhì)量。2009年是許多行業(yè)的一個(gè)寒冬,在這樣的背景下,金融行業(yè)的發(fā)展?jié)摿κ怯械?,許多企業(yè)和個(gè)體戶(hù)需求資金過(guò)冬。同時(shí),等金融風(fēng)暴刮完,百?gòu)U具興的時(shí)候就到了,許多行業(yè)需求更多資金來(lái)謀求更大的發(fā)展。在這個(gè)充滿(mǎn)機(jī)遇時(shí)刻,我將做到經(jīng)常下鄉(xiāng)調(diào)查了解農(nóng)戶(hù)資金需求,加大對(duì)農(nóng)戶(hù)資金支持,并及時(shí)掌握了解__或自井地區(qū)個(gè)體戶(hù)或企業(yè)信貸需求。其次,認(rèn)真分析不良貸款成因,加大對(duì)不良貸款的清收力度,我上任后將帶領(lǐng)全社員工對(duì)不良貸款進(jìn)行地毯式清收,對(duì)賴(lài)帳戶(hù)做到“殺一儆百”的效果。

尊敬的各位老師和我親愛(ài)的師弟師妹們:

大家好!

從來(lái)沒(méi)有想過(guò)能夠以今天這樣一種身份和方式重回人大的校園,在感到榮幸的同時(shí),也感到壓力。我問(wèn)自己,人大法學(xué)院的驕子們?cè)谶@個(gè)時(shí)刻是否還有人愿意聆聽(tīng)一個(gè)有了好幾個(gè)代溝的師姐在這嘮叨?如果僥幸還有人說(shuō)愿意的話,我要對(duì)大家說(shuō)什么?我能帶給大家什么?在提出這些問(wèn)題的同時(shí),我似乎看到了當(dāng)年自己畢業(yè)時(shí)的興奮和忐忑,也記起自己從事知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)審判18年來(lái)的辛苦和收獲。在我的成長(zhǎng)過(guò)程中,得到過(guò)很多師長(zhǎng)、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和同事的提醒、指導(dǎo)與幫助。所以,我希望我能把從他們那里得到的關(guān)愛(ài)傳遞給你們。今天,我從個(gè)人的經(jīng)歷談三點(diǎn)體會(huì),如果其中能有只言片語(yǔ)給大家一點(diǎn)觸動(dòng),也算沒(méi)有辜負(fù)老師的期望,沒(méi)有浪費(fèi)大家的時(shí)間。

我的第一個(gè)體會(huì)是:認(rèn)清職責(zé),堅(jiān)持夢(mèng)想。

在這里,我想先問(wèn)同學(xué)們一個(gè)問(wèn)題,你對(duì)工作是如何認(rèn)識(shí)的?是當(dāng)做謀生的手段,還是當(dāng)做事業(yè)?如果是要成就一番事業(yè),我的感受是,只有把個(gè)人的追求與國(guó)家的發(fā)展、集體的榮譽(yù)凝結(jié)在一起時(shí),才會(huì)更有動(dòng)力,更有價(jià)值。聽(tīng)起來(lái)是不是有點(diǎn)空?但我身有體會(huì)。

1994年7月,我剛剛進(jìn)入法院工作。一次,跟同事去修自行車(chē),修車(chē)的師傅問(wèn)我們?cè)谀墓ぷ?,我們回?ldquo;法院”。正埋頭修車(chē)的師傅抬頭望了我們一眼,意味深長(zhǎng)地說(shuō)“法院?法院好?。?rdquo;這個(gè)好,聽(tīng)得我很難受。我知道,當(dāng)時(shí)流行著一句順口溜“大蓋帽,兩頭翹,吃完原告吃被告”,那就是法官在公眾中的形象。當(dāng)時(shí),我就想,雖然我個(gè)人是渺小的,但是要從我做起,我相信,通過(guò)無(wú)數(shù)個(gè)我的努力,會(huì)改變社會(huì)對(duì)法官的認(rèn)知,總會(huì)有一天公眾會(huì)把法官當(dāng)做“公正的化身”。

雖然成為一名好法官是我的職業(yè)夢(mèng)想,但是剛剛參加工作的我,并不了解自己從事的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)審判工作的意義。當(dāng)時(shí)庭長(zhǎng)的一句話,讓我時(shí)刻牢記心中,讓我能在18年來(lái)的工作中認(rèn)認(rèn)真真對(duì)待每一起案件。他說(shuō):“知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)無(wú)小案”。在工作中我逐漸認(rèn)識(shí)到,一項(xiàng)專(zhuān)利可能影響一個(gè)行業(yè)的發(fā)展,一件商標(biāo)可以決定一個(gè)企業(yè)的生死存亡。作為知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)法官,我們不僅需要平衡當(dāng)事人雙方的利益,甚至要考慮我們的判決對(duì)于科技創(chuàng)新、文化發(fā)展的影響,我們肩上的擔(dān)子很重。有了這份責(zé)任感,我才有了前進(jìn)的動(dòng)力。

__年,我獲得了公派留學(xué)英國(guó)的機(jī)會(huì)。留學(xué)時(shí)的一些經(jīng)歷,也使自己受到很多觸動(dòng)。初見(jiàn)教知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)法的教授,當(dāng)我介紹自己是一名從事知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)審判的中國(guó)法官時(shí),教授不以為然地?fù)u搖頭說(shuō):中國(guó)?中國(guó)有知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)保護(hù)嗎?雖然中國(guó)知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)專(zhuān)業(yè)司法保護(hù)已經(jīng)開(kāi)展了7年,但是國(guó)外對(duì)中國(guó)不了解,不認(rèn)可。那一刻,我的心被刺痛了。一種從未有過(guò)的強(qiáng)烈的使命感和責(zé)任感油然而生,也就在那一刻,我告訴自己一定要更加發(fā)奮圖強(qiáng),要通過(guò)我審理的案件,讓外國(guó)的當(dāng)事人及司法同行們,真正看到中國(guó)司法的發(fā)展與進(jìn)步,領(lǐng)略到中國(guó)法官的素質(zhì)與風(fēng)采。

這些經(jīng)歷,時(shí)刻會(huì)提醒我作為法官、作為中國(guó)的知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)法官的職責(zé)和使命。正是有了這種信念,我才能不懈努力和堅(jiān)持。

回想起來(lái),如果我僅僅是把工作當(dāng)成謀生的手段,或者僅僅是當(dāng)成自己的事業(yè),是很難堅(jiān)持下來(lái)的。比如,當(dāng)你沒(méi)有了生存的壓力,當(dāng)你生病,當(dāng)你因生了小孩或者家人生病生活負(fù)擔(dān)過(guò)重,當(dāng)你感到工作壓力過(guò)大時(shí),你的惰性必然會(huì)滋生。如果把工作完全當(dāng)成是自己的事情,那你隨時(shí)都可以放棄。而當(dāng)你看到你工作的社會(huì)價(jià)值,當(dāng)你發(fā)現(xiàn)任何理由都不能讓你在工作中得過(guò)且過(guò)時(shí),我相信,大家會(huì)跟我一樣,會(huì)選擇讓自我價(jià)值與社會(huì)價(jià)值一起實(shí)現(xiàn)。

所以,只有當(dāng)你感受到職責(zé)和使命時(shí),你才能做到堅(jiān)持夢(mèng)想,永不退卻。

我的第二個(gè)體會(huì)是:機(jī)會(huì)只屬于有準(zhǔn)備的人。

我相信在座的每一位同學(xué)都有夢(mèng)想,但是你們有沒(méi)有想過(guò)如何能成就夢(mèng)想?大家也都知道成就夢(mèng)想需要機(jī)會(huì),那我希望大家能經(jīng)常問(wèn)自己兩個(gè)問(wèn)題,問(wèn)題一:機(jī)會(huì)會(huì)無(wú)緣無(wú)故落到你頭上嗎?問(wèn)題二:當(dāng)機(jī)會(huì)來(lái)臨時(shí),你準(zhǔn)備好了嗎?

離開(kāi)校園,初入職場(chǎng),我相信大家都對(duì)未來(lái)充滿(mǎn)了希望。但是,我想給大家潑一點(diǎn)冷水。外面的世界很精彩,有時(shí)候,外面的世界也很無(wú)奈。每個(gè)人都要做好充分的思想準(zhǔn)備。比如,剛剛參加工作,沒(méi)有哪一個(gè)單位會(huì)把你當(dāng)成大人物,你只能是一個(gè)小職員。如果你選擇了進(jìn)入法院,可能你要做好幾年的書(shū)記員,你每天的主要工作是記筆錄、填寫(xiě)各種訴訟文件、訂卷;如果你選擇進(jìn)入機(jī)關(guān),可能你在很長(zhǎng)一段時(shí)間內(nèi)的主要工作是復(fù)印資料、寫(xiě)各種通知和報(bào)告、開(kāi)會(huì)、辦會(huì)務(wù)。當(dāng)你發(fā)現(xiàn),現(xiàn)實(shí)與你的理想差距很大時(shí),怎么辦?我給大家的回答是,接受并充分利用它。

進(jìn)入法院,我是從小書(shū)記員做起,也做過(guò)內(nèi)勤,就是給全庭做好后勤保障服務(wù)的工作,距離審判業(yè)務(wù)還比較遠(yuǎn)。就是這么一個(gè)普通的職位,我干了6年。可能有人會(huì)問(wèn),你是怎么堅(jiān)持的?有沒(méi)有想過(guò)放棄?我的答案很簡(jiǎn)單,我熱愛(ài)審判工作,那是我的職業(yè)理想,所以我要堅(jiān)持。雖然我當(dāng)時(shí)所做的一切都顯得那么微不足道,但我會(huì)盡心完成好每一項(xiàng)任務(wù)。我會(huì)利用一切機(jī)會(huì)多聽(tīng)、多看、多學(xué)、多做。聽(tīng)法官討論案件,揣摩他們的辦案思路;看法官如何處理與當(dāng)事人的關(guān)系,掌握審判技巧;學(xué)習(xí)案件中涉及的一切法律知識(shí),為當(dāng)法官打下堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ);做一切不管是分內(nèi)還是分外的工作,多給自己鍛煉的機(jī)會(huì)。

雖然這段時(shí)間很漫長(zhǎng),很辛苦,但事實(shí)證明,有付出,必然有回報(bào)。我的努力得到了領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和同事的認(rèn)可。我不斷得到各種鍛煉的機(jī)會(huì),比如:參加新類(lèi)型、媒體關(guān)注度高、疑難復(fù)雜案件的審理,在一些研討會(huì)上做主題發(fā)言,參與庭著作的出版,執(zhí)筆一些重要的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)講話或者課題報(bào)告。尤其是在我還是一名普通書(shū)記員的時(shí)候,被選派至伊朗參加世界知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)組織召開(kāi)的“亞太地區(qū)執(zhí)行trips協(xié)議情況”研討會(huì),并用英語(yǔ)做主題發(fā)言。

回過(guò)頭來(lái),當(dāng)我以一個(gè)管理者的身份重新看自己的經(jīng)歷時(shí),我發(fā)現(xiàn),我所獲得的那些機(jī)會(huì)絕非偶然。從管理者的視角來(lái)看,我在決定把機(jī)會(huì)給誰(shuí),或者遇到重要的工作決定用誰(shuí)時(shí),我會(huì)考慮哪些因素?我最看重的是責(zé)任心和實(shí)力。只有贏得信任,讓我相信他有能力很好地完成任務(wù)的時(shí)候,我才會(huì)把機(jī)會(huì)交給他。所以,我想告訴在座的師弟師妹們,不要小看任何一個(gè)不起眼的工作任務(wù),他們都是你贏得信任和展示實(shí)力的重要機(jī)會(huì)。如果你懈怠了,等于是把好機(jī)會(huì)讓給了別人。

我的第三個(gè)體會(huì)是:面對(duì)困難一定要選擇勇敢和堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。

我在做一次網(wǎng)絡(luò)直播時(shí),有網(wǎng)友問(wèn)我:“我已經(jīng)工作了兩年多,認(rèn)為自己很努力,但是得不到認(rèn)可。姜法官,如果你沒(méi)有獲得這么多榮譽(yù),你還會(huì)堅(jiān)持嗎?”我能理解提問(wèn)者的心情,但不知道如何真正給予她指導(dǎo)和幫助。

我也經(jīng)??吹接袌?bào)道說(shuō)某某大學(xué)的博士生或者碩士生自殺了。這些新聞會(huì)讓我心里更沉重。

今天,我特別想說(shuō),大家可能看到了我那些榮譽(yù)的光環(huán),但沒(méi)有誰(shuí)真正看到這背后我付出的艱辛和努力。在我成長(zhǎng)的過(guò)程中,從來(lái)沒(méi)有想過(guò)會(huì)有這些榮譽(yù),我只是在做我認(rèn)為自己該做的事,這些榮譽(yù)只是我努力付出的副產(chǎn)品。所以,是否有這些榮譽(yù)的肯定,不會(huì)影響我的抉擇,不會(huì)影響我前進(jìn)的腳步。

講到這,可能有人會(huì)搖頭。我想還是親身經(jīng)歷更有說(shuō)服力。大家從媒體上看到的我可能是一個(gè)成功的法官形象,但事實(shí)上,不論在生活中還是在工作上,我都遇到過(guò)很大的挫折,沒(méi)有經(jīng)歷的人可能難以想象。首先說(shuō)工作,由于級(jí)別晉升的制度問(wèn)題,我做了6年的書(shū)記員,在擔(dān)任副庭長(zhǎng)前,擔(dān)任了6年的庭長(zhǎng)助理。這是什么概念呢?現(xiàn)在的本科畢業(yè)生一般4-5年可以做法官,研究生畢業(yè)3年就可以做法官。而庭長(zhǎng)助理也是很有特色的一個(gè)職位,一般是1年助理后晉升副庭長(zhǎng),而我因?yàn)樽鲋頃r(shí)是副科級(jí),不能直接跳到副處級(jí)當(dāng)副庭長(zhǎng),再加上一些晉升制度的歷史變革問(wèn)題,一助就是6年,在全國(guó)都絕無(wú)僅有。這些算不算是很大的考驗(yàn)?zāi)??再說(shuō)生活,1995年,我被確診為患有類(lèi)風(fēng)濕性關(guān)節(jié)炎,在1995年到__年期間,病情發(fā)展迅速。最嚴(yán)重時(shí),全身關(guān)節(jié)疼痛難忍,夜間睡覺(jué)不敢翻身,被子掉了,自己提不起來(lái),行走困難,我當(dāng)時(shí)的感慨是“原來(lái)能自如行走也是一種幸福”。今天,我把這些經(jīng)歷翻出來(lái)給大家看,不是想告訴大家我有多優(yōu)秀、多偉大。我是希望,當(dāng)你們面對(duì)困難時(shí),想想姜穎法官,我希望你們能象我一樣選擇勇敢和堅(jiān)強(qiáng),沒(méi)有什么是克服不了的。在要退縮時(shí),請(qǐng)不要僅僅想到自己,因?yàn)槟銈兊囊磺惺桥c父母、家庭和社會(huì)緊密聯(lián)系在一起的,所以,不要輕言放棄。

親愛(ài)的師弟師妹們,因?yàn)槲覑?ài)母校,所以我愛(ài)你們。因?yàn)樽鋈舜蠓扇耸俏业臉s耀和驕傲,所以我也希望你們能跟我一樣,為我們這個(gè)集體的榮譽(yù)奮進(jìn)前行!

最后,我特別想說(shuō)的是,感謝人大法學(xué)院對(duì)我的培養(yǎng),在校期間學(xué)習(xí)的法律知識(shí),培養(yǎng)的法律邏輯是我從事好審判工作的基石。我還要特別感謝我的授業(yè)恩師劉春田教授以及班主任郭禾教授,他們不僅于我在校期間傳授知識(shí)和做人的道理,而且在我工作中每次遇到困難時(shí),也都伸出無(wú)私的援助之手,給我以強(qiáng)大的力量支撐,讓我倍受溫暖和感動(dòng)。僅僅說(shuō)感謝太無(wú)力,我會(huì)在日常工作和生活中繼續(xù)努力,用成績(jī)回報(bào)母校和恩師!

第11篇 勵(lì)志演講稿:大學(xué)是人生翻盤(pán)的機(jī)會(huì)嗎?

親愛(ài)的來(lái)自北京各個(gè)高校的同學(xué)們,大家下午好!

非常感謝大家來(lái)到這么一個(gè)特殊的地方,也感謝大家在下午頂著非常曬的太陽(yáng),來(lái)這兒聽(tīng)我和李開(kāi)復(fù)跟大家聊大學(xué)生活。請(qǐng)問(wèn)我們現(xiàn)在坐的地方的背后是什么?圓明園。可以說(shuō)中國(guó)的近代史就是由圓明園的廢墟開(kāi)始的歷史。圓明園是哪一年被燒掉的?大家都知道1860年英法聯(lián)軍。為什么遠(yuǎn)離萬(wàn)里之外的英國(guó)和法國(guó)跑到我們中國(guó)這個(gè)首都之地把圓明園給燒掉?最根本的原因是什么?是因?yàn)閳A明園里面有好東西嗎?是因?yàn)閳A明園沒(méi)人保護(hù)嗎?還是因?yàn)閳A明園中國(guó)人民當(dāng)時(shí)沒(méi)有能力保護(hù)?很明顯的是沒(méi)有能力保護(hù)。誰(shuí)都知道,中國(guó)近100多年的發(fā)展史是一部恥辱的歷史。近30年中國(guó)改革開(kāi)放的歷史,是一部從恥辱中間不斷地站起來(lái)的歷史。

今天的中國(guó)在世界上已經(jīng)有了一定的地位。20年前我申請(qǐng)到美國(guó)去的時(shí)候,不斷地被拒簽,今天我們想要去美國(guó)或者西方其他國(guó)家基本上可以拿到簽證,這一點(diǎn)表明了我們變得不斷強(qiáng)大。但是,站在這個(gè)地方,我們可以清楚地知道,一個(gè)國(guó)家如果很貧弱的話就會(huì)受到欺負(fù)。這是為什么鄧小平總結(jié)了一句話,非常簡(jiǎn)單的一句話,叫做“發(fā)展是硬道理”。今天的中國(guó)有了一定的地位,但是依然不夠強(qiáng)大。我們所說(shuō)的強(qiáng)大,不是說(shuō)要能夠戰(zhàn)勝所有的國(guó)家,不是說(shuō)要打到英國(guó)大英博物館或者打到法國(guó)的盧浮宮,去把東西搶回來(lái)。我們所說(shuō)的強(qiáng)大,是從經(jīng)濟(jì)、政治、文化到精神的強(qiáng)大。

我們?cè)谧拿總€(gè)人一輩子的歷史,它可以是光榮的,也可以是恥辱的;它可以是失敗的,也可以是成功的。你想變得成功,你想變得光榮,不在于外在的任何條件,而在于你自身。不在于說(shuō)你本身現(xiàn)在是什么地位,而在于一輩子你到底具備什么樣的夢(mèng)想。我們很多同學(xué)在一路奮斗以后,走進(jìn)了北京的大學(xué)。在座的有來(lái)自有北大、清華這樣的名牌學(xué)校,也有像吉利大學(xué)這樣的民辦學(xué)校。似乎我們進(jìn)入大學(xué)的門(mén)檻和分?jǐn)?shù)是不一樣的,但是同學(xué)們請(qǐng)記住,這只是你人生的一個(gè)起點(diǎn)。在過(guò)去從小學(xué)到中學(xué)畢業(yè)的2022年的歷史,我們經(jīng)歷了艱苦卓絕的奮斗。因?yàn)槿绻覀儾慌Α⒉粖^斗,就不可能走進(jìn)大學(xué)。但是,走進(jìn)大學(xué),只是一次生命真正的開(kāi)始。

我們大家都知道,只要你保證身體健康就能活很多年。假如我們能活到100歲,那你還有80年的事要做。很多同學(xué)說(shuō),我現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)比別的同學(xué)差得很遠(yuǎn),我未來(lái)到底怎么樣才能改善?我有一句話,人最重要的是志向,是內(nèi)心的渴望,而不是外在的條件。從外在條件來(lái)說(shuō),我們?nèi)艘惠呑樱瑥某錾哪且惶扉_(kāi)始就是不平等的,生而不平等,這是一個(gè)事實(shí)。你出生在農(nóng)民家里和出生在官宦家里的條件是不一樣的,能得到的資源也是不一樣的。但是,我們?nèi)说囊惠呑拥膴^斗過(guò)程,就是不斷地去使自己有能力獲取更大的資源、實(shí)現(xiàn)更大的夢(mèng)想,并且回過(guò)頭來(lái)把這種資源貢獻(xiàn)給社會(huì)的過(guò)程。所以,當(dāng)有人問(wèn)我說(shuō),俞老師,我這輩子還能追上別人嗎?像你這樣的成就或者像你做的事情,我未來(lái)還可以做到嗎?我可以肯定地告訴你:只要我能做到,你就能做到;只要李開(kāi)復(fù)能做到,你就能做到;只要馬云能做到,你就能做到。因?yàn)槲覀冞@些人的起點(diǎn)并不比你更高,某種意義上說(shuō),甚至應(yīng)該比你更低。人生一輩子不是百米賽跑,如果百米賽跑早跑一秒鐘或者晚跑一秒鐘,你可能就會(huì)晚到一秒鐘或者早到一秒鐘。人生走的是無(wú)窮無(wú)盡的馬拉松,馬拉松不需要去計(jì)較你的起點(diǎn)是落后了還是站在第一名,馬拉松計(jì)較的是你到底能夠走多遠(yuǎn),到底能夠堅(jiān)持走多久。如果說(shuō)你能堅(jiān)持走出足夠的距離,哪怕你放慢一點(diǎn)兒速度,只要前進(jìn)的方向是清晰的,未來(lái)你就能走出別人所沒(méi)有走出來(lái)的距離,你就能看到別人沒(méi)有看到的風(fēng)景。我只是希望我們?cè)谧乃型瑢W(xué)們,不要像圓明園一樣,最后自己被倒成一片廢墟,而自己的生命回顧起來(lái)也是一片廢墟。我們希望的是,現(xiàn)在趁著我們還很年輕,趁著我們還有理想,趁著我們還有激情,就應(yīng)該讓生命進(jìn)一步地前行,讓生命進(jìn)一步地發(fā)出光彩和熱。

同學(xué)們,我們現(xiàn)在站在了新的起點(diǎn)上,就是我們的大學(xué)生活。我剛才說(shuō)過(guò),如果我們大學(xué)生活要往前走的話,我們不需要太關(guān)注過(guò)去,不需要關(guān)注現(xiàn)在所在的大學(xué)是好還是壞,不需要關(guān)注家庭出身是農(nóng)民還是工人,不需要關(guān)注長(zhǎng)相是好看還是難看,甚至未來(lái)不需要關(guān)注你到底能夠到國(guó)外去讀書(shū)還是留在國(guó)內(nèi)讀書(shū),因?yàn)樗羞@一切都是外在的東西。外在的東西盡管在一定階段對(duì)我們來(lái)說(shuō)是很重要的,但是從長(zhǎng)遠(yuǎn)的一輩子來(lái)說(shuō),對(duì)我們來(lái)說(shuō)是不重要的。

以大學(xué)為例子,我們進(jìn)了北大或者清華這樣的大學(xué)固然好,但并不是每一個(gè)走進(jìn)北大的學(xué)生就必然成功。我看到了很多北大的學(xué)生,進(jìn)了北大就不學(xué)習(xí)了;看到很多北大的學(xué)生,由于學(xué)習(xí)壓力非常重,心理很有問(wèn)題;也看到了一些北大的學(xué)生,在大學(xué)畢業(yè)以后無(wú)所事事。當(dāng)然,我想清華等這樣的學(xué)校也有這樣的情況。但是我看到很多二本三本的學(xué)生,他們?cè)诮?jīng)過(guò)了自己全力以赴的努力以后,研究生就考上了北大、清華或者是進(jìn)入了世界名牌大學(xué)。

我認(rèn)識(shí)的一個(gè)朋友,中專(zhuān)畢業(yè)以后,經(jīng)過(guò)了一段時(shí)間的工作,他發(fā)現(xiàn)中專(zhuān)學(xué)歷遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠。他之所以上中專(zhuān),不是因?yàn)樗浚且驗(yàn)樗募彝l件實(shí)在太差。在當(dāng)時(shí)那個(gè)年代,應(yīng)該是接近30年以前,上中專(zhuān)一般都是師范學(xué)院,而師范學(xué)院是不需要交任何費(fèi)用的,所以他只能選擇中專(zhuān)。工作以后,發(fā)現(xiàn)這是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的。后來(lái)就開(kāi)始努力自學(xué),上了大專(zhuān)??忌弦院?,他覺(jué)得大專(zhuān)還是不夠?,F(xiàn)在一般來(lái)說(shuō)要學(xué)到本科才能考研究生,但那時(shí)只要是大專(zhuān)畢業(yè)了就可以考研究生。所以,大專(zhuān)畢業(yè)之后,他下定決心要考研究生,而且要考就考最好的學(xué)校。所以,最后目標(biāo)鎖定在北大。他辭掉了工作,在北大外面租了一間房子,努力自學(xué)了三年,最后終于考上了北京大學(xué)政治系的研究生。北大畢業(yè)以后,成了公務(wù)員,進(jìn)入了北京非常好的一個(gè)中央單位工作。在中央單位工作的時(shí)候,覺(jué)得自己一杯開(kāi)水、一張報(bào)紙這樣的日子不是自己想要奮斗的目標(biāo),所以業(yè)余時(shí)間就來(lái)新東方學(xué)托福、學(xué)gre,目標(biāo)是要到世界名牌大學(xué)讀書(shū)。在新東方學(xué)了差不多兩年,把這兩門(mén)考試考過(guò)去了,最后通過(guò)努力,進(jìn)入了哈佛大學(xué)肯尼迪政治學(xué)院。畢業(yè)以后,在國(guó)外工作了一段時(shí)間,剛好遇到政府希望到國(guó)外招聘一些在國(guó)外畢業(yè)后想回到中國(guó)工作的機(jī)會(huì)?;貋?lái)以后,很快進(jìn)入了中國(guó)的廳局級(jí)管理干部的行列。由于他的志向,由于他的努力,由于他中西方文化結(jié)合的背景,所以很快變成了中國(guó)的比較重要的管理干部之一。

有無(wú)數(shù)的中專(zhuān)生就是以中專(zhuān)生結(jié)束了自己的一輩子。但是我們有可以看到,有一個(gè)中專(zhuān)生可以?shī)^斗到哈佛大學(xué)的畢業(yè)生,這就是一路奮斗的歷程。我們常常說(shuō),名牌大學(xué)的人好像有一些更加硬性的條件,但我剛才也說(shuō)過(guò)了,并不是每一個(gè)名牌大學(xué)的人都能成功。

我跟馬云有很多相似之處。馬云高考考了三年,我也考了三年;馬云考的是英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè),我也考的是英語(yǔ)專(zhuān)業(yè);三年以后,我考上了北京大學(xué),他考上了杭州師范學(xué)院。大家都知道,這是一所大家都沒(méi)聽(tīng)說(shuō)過(guò)的學(xué)校。如果你現(xiàn)在曾經(jīng)聽(tīng)說(shuō)過(guò)這個(gè)學(xué)校,一定是因?yàn)橄嚷?tīng)說(shuō)了馬云,才聽(tīng)說(shuō)了這所學(xué)校。我跟馬云到今天為止還有很多相似之處,我們兩個(gè)人都可以用英文做報(bào)告,我們兩個(gè)人到今天為止依然保持著自己的學(xué)士學(xué)位。也就是說(shuō),我們的最高學(xué)歷是學(xué)士。但是大家可以看到,學(xué)校和學(xué)位不能阻擋一個(gè)人的成長(zhǎng)。我曾經(jīng)認(rèn)為我比馬云要做得更好一點(diǎn)兒,因?yàn)槲耶吘故潜贝蟮摹5?,大家都知道,馬云一個(gè)人做出了我10個(gè)人可能都做不出的事情。我做了近20年只做出一個(gè)新東方,馬云真正的創(chuàng)業(yè)(阿里巴巴)是1999年開(kāi)始的,也就是比我做得還要晚。但是他現(xiàn)在除了阿里巴巴以外,有有淘寶網(wǎng)。

所以大家可以看到,一個(gè)人的成功跟你所上的學(xué)校沒(méi)有必然的聯(lián)系,跟你內(nèi)心的沖動(dòng)有關(guān)系,跟你內(nèi)心的渴望有關(guān)系。所以我常常說(shuō),一個(gè)人可以過(guò)貧困的生活,一個(gè)人可以過(guò)孤獨(dú)的生活,但是一個(gè)人不能過(guò)內(nèi)心沒(méi)有火焰的生活,一個(gè)人不能過(guò)內(nèi)心沒(méi)有渴望和向往的生活。我說(shuō)的這些渴望和向往,不是指你每天渴望吃一頓飯,不是說(shuō)你每天渴望喝兩瓶啤酒,不是說(shuō)渴望每天要交幾個(gè)女朋友或者男朋友,盡管你可以有這些渴望,但是所有這些渴望應(yīng)該放在你更大的渴望之上。這份渴望,就是渴望自己能夠變得偉大,渴望自己能夠變得成功,渴望自己能夠變得有影響力,渴望自己能夠養(yǎng)活自己、養(yǎng)活家庭,渴望自己為這個(gè)社會(huì)做貢獻(xiàn)。這種渴望是你走向未來(lái)的強(qiáng)大動(dòng)力。

一個(gè)人就像一個(gè)植物一樣,如果內(nèi)心沒(méi)有長(zhǎng)大的種子,你永遠(yuǎn)長(zhǎng)不大。這是我在中央電視臺(tái)說(shuō)過(guò)的著名的樹(shù)和草的比喻。如果你內(nèi)心只是草的種子,你就是草;如果你內(nèi)心是樹(shù)的種子,你必然會(huì)長(zhǎng)成樹(shù)。在人的心里,樹(shù)的種子和草的種子是可以變換的,不像自然界,讓松樹(shù)的種子變成楊樹(shù)是不太容易的,讓草的種子變成松樹(shù)也是不可能的。但是,人是可變的,人的改變往往是一瞬間的事情。只要你內(nèi)心想要把自己變得崇高、變得偉大,你就能改變。所以,首先我們要求在座的同學(xué)都要做到一點(diǎn),就是要有一個(gè)渴望自己成長(zhǎng)的種子。

人的成長(zhǎng)有兩種:一種叫做自然成長(zhǎng);另一種叫做心靈的成長(zhǎng)。我們?cè)谧乃型瑢W(xué)都可以自然地成長(zhǎng)。你完全可以預(yù)料到你18歲到30歲會(huì)是怎么樣,30歲到40歲怎么樣,到50歲怎么樣?,F(xiàn)在如果經(jīng)過(guò)電腦的精確計(jì)算,你能夠精確地看到90歲長(zhǎng)成什么樣。我曾經(jīng)輸入過(guò)我的頭像,發(fā)現(xiàn)90歲是一個(gè)干癟的、頭發(fā)花白、滿(mǎn)臉皺紋的,但充滿(mǎn)智慧的老頭形象。我相信我這個(gè)人可能一輩子什么都會(huì)丟掉,但是有一點(diǎn)肯定不會(huì)丟,就是我對(duì)生活的渴望和對(duì)自己創(chuàng)造的渴望。在我的生命中,楊振寧教授一直是我學(xué)習(xí)榜樣。楊振寧教授今年已接近90歲的生命,還在不斷地到處做演講,指導(dǎo)年輕的科學(xué)家。人是一種可以不斷地燃燒,可以源源不斷地發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的能量,可以不斷地產(chǎn)生燃?xì)獾倪@樣一種動(dòng)物。你只要想燒,永遠(yuǎn)是燒不完的。 大家有沒(méi)有發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)現(xiàn)象:只有懶惰的人身體才會(huì)不好,而勤奮、有理想的人往往身體會(huì)不斷地好起來(lái)。像年紀(jì)大的人中間,那些勤勞的人往往很少得老年癡呆癥,而那些不需要干活的人常常會(huì)得老年癡呆癥。為什么?他不再行動(dòng),不再動(dòng)腦子。從這個(gè)意義上來(lái)說(shuō),人像動(dòng)物一樣,是要干活的。任何一個(gè)動(dòng)物,如果失去了捕食的能力,就會(huì)被餓死。所以,你可以看到在非洲草原上被活活餓死的獅子。為什么?因?yàn)樗チ瞬妒衬芰Α?/p>

我們可以預(yù)料自己活多少歲,甚至可以預(yù)料我們的長(zhǎng)相是什么樣的。但是,請(qǐng)?jiān)谧耐瑢W(xué)想一想,你能預(yù)料你30歲能獲得什么成就嗎?你能預(yù)料你40歲獲得什么成就嗎?你能預(yù)料你80歲獲得什么成就嗎?你預(yù)料不到。人只有這一點(diǎn)沒(méi)法預(yù)料,你永遠(yuǎn)沒(méi)法預(yù)料你的潛力。但是,你的潛力在什么地方?在你的心里面。我從來(lái)沒(méi)有預(yù)料到今天我所做的一切事情是我能夠做出來(lái)的。今天我能做出一點(diǎn)兒事情來(lái),是因?yàn)槲覍?duì)生命有一種內(nèi)在的渴望和向往。

我的家在長(zhǎng)江邊上,從小坐在長(zhǎng)江邊看著太陽(yáng)從東方升起,從西方落下,看著船來(lái)船往,我就產(chǎn)生了一種渴望。這種渴望后來(lái)我總結(jié)了一句話,叫做穿越地平線走向未來(lái)的渴望,就是走向遠(yuǎn)方。生命中有榜樣也是非常重要的,在我的生命中有一個(gè)家鄉(xiāng)的榜樣,他的家就在我的隔壁,這個(gè)人的名字大家都知道,叫徐霞客。我們從小就聽(tīng)徐霞客的故事,給我?guī)?lái)的一種感覺(jué)是,如果說(shuō)一個(gè)榜樣離你很遠(yuǎn),你可能會(huì)把他當(dāng)作神。比如說(shuō),我讓你把丘吉爾、毛澤東、秦始皇、劉邦、曹雪芹、魯迅當(dāng)作榜樣,你覺(jué)得他們離你很遠(yuǎn)。但是,如果就住在魯迅的三昧?xí)葸吷祥L(zhǎng)大的,你就可能覺(jué)得魯迅離你很近。所以,我從小就有這樣一個(gè)感覺(jué):如果徐霞客在400多年前就能夠走遍中國(guó)的山山水水,把自己走成一個(gè)偉大的人物,那為什么我不能?所以,榜樣的力量是無(wú)窮的。我從小有一個(gè)一般農(nóng)村的孩子不會(huì)產(chǎn)生的眼界,就是我希望自己能夠走遍中國(guó)的山山水水。

人最大的痛苦是什么?就是你有了一個(gè)更加容易的選擇,往往就會(huì)往更加容易的選擇上去走。更加容易的選擇往往導(dǎo)致你降低自己的人生目標(biāo)和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。當(dāng)初如果有農(nóng)民工的話,我就不會(huì)那么辛苦地去考大學(xué),因?yàn)榭即髮W(xué)肯定比當(dāng)農(nóng)民工更加難。但是,當(dāng)你發(fā)現(xiàn)一個(gè)更加難的事情通過(guò)自己的努力也能達(dá)到,更加難的目標(biāo)就值得你去努力。

人要有一個(gè)向往。我當(dāng)時(shí)的這種向往就是希望自己能夠走出去。這樣的向往,使我最后能夠走進(jìn)北大。我連續(xù)三年高考。第一年高考,英語(yǔ)考了33分,連中專(zhuān)都沒(méi)有錄取。;第二年英語(yǔ)考了55分,也是連中專(zhuān)都沒(méi)錄取;但是,由于第三年的努力,我很多門(mén)課都考到了90多分,其中最突出的一門(mén)成績(jī)(除了英語(yǔ))就是地理,地理當(dāng)時(shí)滿(mǎn)分100分,我考了97分,如果沒(méi)有徐霞客這么偉大的地理學(xué)家的影子,我不會(huì)對(duì)地理如此感興趣。到今天為止,中國(guó)的前幾百個(gè)城市在什么地方,只要把城市名稱(chēng)說(shuō)出來(lái),我就可以在地圖上幾乎毫無(wú)懸念地標(biāo)注出來(lái)。確實(shí),一個(gè)夢(mèng)想可以催生你的一片生命。我已經(jīng)充分意識(shí)到,現(xiàn)在走遍中國(guó)是不夠的,必須走遍世界。因?yàn)檫@個(gè)世界上有太多的精彩等待你去探索,有太多的地方等待你去尋找。也是因?yàn)槌鲇谶@樣的目標(biāo),在新東方在中國(guó)上市還是美國(guó)上市的時(shí)候,我毫不猶豫地選擇了新東方必須到美國(guó)去上市,不是說(shuō)因?yàn)槲蚁矚g美國(guó),而是因?yàn)槲抑?,走向了美?guó)紐約證券交易所,新東方就走向了世界,它就會(huì)把新東方帶向一個(gè)世界的平臺(tái)。

同學(xué)們,你的未來(lái)的潛力是無(wú)限的。你不要想你現(xiàn)在到底有沒(méi)有能力。我有一句話,叫做不要用你的現(xiàn)在去判斷你的未來(lái),因?yàn)槟愕奈磥?lái)不可判斷,你要去努力。我常常聽(tīng)到同學(xué)說(shuō),俞老師,人是有命運(yùn)的。他的命就好,沒(méi)有辦法。生在有錢(qián)人家里,什么資源都有,大學(xué)一畢業(yè)的時(shí)候就給大把的錢(qián)創(chuàng)業(yè),而且天資聰明,一創(chuàng)業(yè)就成功。你說(shuō)我們這些人怎么比?確實(shí)是,表面上看是沒(méi)法比的,短時(shí)間也是沒(méi)法比的。但是,從長(zhǎng)時(shí)間來(lái)說(shuō),一個(gè)人擁有的資源并不能決定他一輩子必然成功。我們假想有一些人一輩子就可以躺在這個(gè)資源上睡大覺(jué),但我們看到更多的是不擁有資源的人,最后走向了擁有資源的道路。像我剛才說(shuō)的馬云,一個(gè)普通工人家庭的孩子,他的父親是拉三輪車(chē)的;就像我,普通農(nóng)民家庭的孩子,我的父母是不認(rèn)字的。但是今天,毫不夸張地說(shuō),我們擁有了一部分中國(guó)的社會(huì)資源和企業(yè)資源。當(dāng)然,我們盡可能利用這個(gè)資源為更多的人服務(wù)。

我們剛才講到一個(gè)人的社會(huì)資源問(wèn)題時(shí)常常講到命運(yùn),有同學(xué)說(shuō)命運(yùn)是定的。命運(yùn)會(huì)不會(huì)定?有一部分是定的。我剛才說(shuō)了,你出生在什么樣的家庭,長(zhǎng)成什么樣子,這些是定的。除此之外,其他的是可變的。所以,大家要充分地關(guān)注可變的命運(yùn),而不是關(guān)注定下來(lái)的命運(yùn)。什么叫可變的?我們把人的運(yùn)氣分成兩種運(yùn)氣:一種叫偶然的,一種叫必然的。一個(gè)人如果尋求偶然的運(yùn)氣,生命常常就會(huì)比較悲慘;但一個(gè)人尋求必然的運(yùn)氣,生命常常會(huì)顯得比較光輝燦爛。什么叫偶然的運(yùn)氣?守株待兔這個(gè)故事大家都知道了,農(nóng)民看到一只兔子撞到樹(shù)樁上,他很高興地?fù)炱饋?lái),他推斷的結(jié)果是每天都應(yīng)該有一個(gè)兔子撞到這個(gè)樹(shù)樁上。所以從此他不干活了,就等著兔子來(lái)撞。等了一輩子,樹(shù)樁等爛了,頭等白了,但是兔子依然沒(méi)來(lái)。他把偶然的運(yùn)氣,當(dāng)成了必然的運(yùn)氣。什么是必然的運(yùn)氣?如果農(nóng)夫推斷這個(gè)地方有動(dòng)物,就積極把自己變成一個(gè)獵人,他可能一輩子不一定只打到兔子,也有可能是打到老虎。大家知道主動(dòng)出擊和被動(dòng)生存有天壤之別。一個(gè)人也許吃苦的命不能改變,但是命的層次可以改變。我怎么后來(lái)會(huì)站到這個(gè)地方?是因?yàn)橥ㄟ^(guò)自己一輩子的努力,一次一次的失敗不罷休,一次一次挫折不罷休。

我常常喜歡講兩個(gè)故事,人的心的變化帶來(lái)命的變化。有一個(gè)人考狀元,路上碰到一個(gè)老和尚,問(wèn)他要干什么,他說(shuō)考狀元。老和尚看了一下他的面相,說(shuō)你不要去考了,你一輩子都不會(huì)有狀元的命,你還是老老實(shí)實(shí)回去吧。但已經(jīng)走到半道了,他不甘心,就繼續(xù)往前走。走到一條河邊上,突然發(fā)現(xiàn)有一個(gè)人落水,他就跳到河里救這個(gè)人,衣服濕了,他沒(méi)辦法就又跑回到廟里。老和尚這時(shí)候見(jiàn)到他說(shuō),奇怪了,你出去了兩個(gè)小時(shí)再回來(lái),你的命變了。你好像臉上已經(jīng)有了考上狀元的臉色了。因?yàn)檫@個(gè)人心生了善念。原來(lái)這個(gè)人很自私,這次一瞬間生了善心,把人救起來(lái)了,所以命就改變了。這好像是一個(gè)編出來(lái)的故事,但是我很相信,原因是什么?原因是你的心變了,你的世界就會(huì)改變,所以你的命運(yùn)改變了。我覺(jué)得努力加勤奮和正確的志向和目標(biāo),是我們走向未來(lái)的唯一道路。

大學(xué)期間到底應(yīng)該做一些什么事情?第一個(gè)事情就是要認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)。在大學(xué)的認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)跟中學(xué)認(rèn)真學(xué)習(xí)是不一樣的,大學(xué)是擴(kuò)展自己的眼光、擴(kuò)展自己人生的學(xué)習(xí)。我說(shuō)的學(xué)習(xí)就是要重視大學(xué)的專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí),我在北大不學(xué)好英語(yǔ),哪有可能我做今天的新東方,所以專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)是非常重要的。專(zhuān)業(yè)如果不喜歡,要學(xué)一個(gè)你喜歡的專(zhuān)業(yè)。你喜歡的專(zhuān)業(yè)是不是真喜歡,要經(jīng)過(guò)反復(fù)琢磨。美國(guó)大學(xué)前兩年不讓你選專(zhuān)業(yè),是讓你用兩年時(shí)間廣泛地培養(yǎng)興趣。朋友們記住了,如果你一輩子在做自己不喜歡的專(zhuān)業(yè),這是可悲的事情。所以,一定要尋找自己喜歡的專(zhuān)業(yè)。如果專(zhuān)業(yè)換不了,就找第二個(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué);如果大學(xué)允許你換專(zhuān)業(yè),你要想清楚了再換。把最重要的知識(shí)學(xué)好,你可以在大學(xué)的時(shí)候爭(zhēng)取學(xué)兩個(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè)。

我們?cè)诖髮W(xué)做過(guò)調(diào)研,換過(guò)專(zhuān)業(yè)的同學(xué)應(yīng)該百分之百地喜歡自己的專(zhuān)業(yè),這應(yīng)該是一個(gè)正常的推論。但是,有些同學(xué)換過(guò)了專(zhuān)業(yè)還是不喜歡自己選擇的專(zhuān)業(yè),表明有些同學(xué)換專(zhuān)業(yè)是一個(gè)魯莽的行為沒(méi)有經(jīng)過(guò)認(rèn)真的思考。除了專(zhuān)業(yè)以外,業(yè)余時(shí)間還要讀大量的書(shū)籍,每?jī)商熳笥揖蛻?yīng)該讀一本書(shū)。我在大學(xué)的時(shí)候讀了差不多800本書(shū),我能讀完,你就能讀完。有的同學(xué)說(shuō),讀過(guò)書(shū)忘了怎么辦?你要記住,讀過(guò)了忘了和沒(méi)有讀過(guò)是兩個(gè)概念。你看周?chē)耐瑢W(xué)讀了書(shū),這些書(shū)你沒(méi)讀過(guò),你心里馬上產(chǎn)生害怕的感覺(jué)。所以讀書(shū)不光是為了智慧,讀書(shū)不光是為了知識(shí)的擴(kuò)展,讀書(shū)還有奠定自信的基礎(chǔ)。如果我沒(méi)有在北大建立起讀書(shū)的自信,我就沒(méi)有自信出來(lái)干新東方。所以讀書(shū)是奠定自信的基礎(chǔ)。

在大學(xué)要做的第二件事情就是要把中學(xué)的活動(dòng)拓展過(guò)來(lái)。人生最重要的是占先機(jī),在大學(xué)時(shí)候能夠參加各種各樣的活動(dòng)是非常重要的,我發(fā)現(xiàn)在大學(xué)活躍的同學(xué)比不活躍的同學(xué)未來(lái)的發(fā)展是有很大差別的。大家在大學(xué)里要多交朋友,請(qǐng)朋友們記住,當(dāng)你跟更厲害的人打交道的時(shí)候你進(jìn)步更快。我從王強(qiáng)老師那兒學(xué)到了讀書(shū),他一進(jìn)大學(xué)就把自己的生活費(fèi)一分為二,一半買(mǎi)書(shū)、一半當(dāng)生活費(fèi),所以他每個(gè)月都要買(mǎi)很多書(shū)。我跟他學(xué),他買(mǎi)什么書(shū)我就買(mǎi)什么書(shū)。大家記住了,在大學(xué)交朋友要盡可能交好的。

在大學(xué)的另外一件事情就是要照顧所有同學(xué)的情緒,盡可能為其他同學(xué)服務(wù)。我們?cè)诖髮W(xué)中發(fā)現(xiàn)兩種同學(xué):一種同學(xué)只關(guān)注自己的成績(jī)、自己的利益、自己如何在競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中取勝,不關(guān)注別人的。這種心態(tài)養(yǎng)成以后,一般在社會(huì)上會(huì)被打得落花流水,因?yàn)檫@個(gè)社會(huì)上不會(huì)接納只為自己爭(zhēng)取利益的人。所以,在大學(xué)的時(shí)候要學(xué)會(huì)關(guān)注別人,把好事盡可能地留給別人,壞事盡可能地留給自己,這樣你得到同學(xué)的信任,將來(lái)你有事情的時(shí)候,就會(huì)有人幫助你。我在大學(xué)的時(shí)候,堅(jiān)持4年打水、宿舍掃地。我在做新東方的時(shí)候找大學(xué)同學(xué)幫忙,他們都愿意幫我。因?yàn)樗麄冇X(jué)得我在大學(xué)是一個(gè)不錯(cuò)的人,是一個(gè)愿意幫助人的人,所以,這樣就形成了一個(gè)大學(xué)同學(xué)的團(tuán)隊(duì)一起干新東方。我今天的交往圈已經(jīng)非常非常廣泛了,但是我最好的朋友依然是大學(xué)的同學(xué)。

在大學(xué),我們要做的另外一個(gè)事情就是盡可能地在感情上有所收獲。我說(shuō)的不僅僅是友情,還有男女之間的感情。在大學(xué)如果有機(jī)會(huì)能夠談一次戀愛(ài),那也是非常好的收獲。我在大學(xué)就沒(méi)有女孩子跟我談,你們?nèi)绻羞@樣的機(jī)會(huì),還是要抓住機(jī)會(huì)的。當(dāng)然,不是為了談戀愛(ài)而談戀愛(ài)。一定要真正的、刻骨銘心地愛(ài)上對(duì)方,這樣才能談。因?yàn)?,只有真誠(chéng)才能真正的感受,才能帶來(lái)真正的成長(zhǎng)。如果真的彼此相愛(ài),要愛(ài)得一心一意。我說(shuō)的一心一意不是在大學(xué)只能談一次戀愛(ài),而是談的時(shí)候只能談一個(gè)。因?yàn)橐粋€(gè)真正有歸屬的感情是在一段時(shí)間內(nèi)心無(wú)旁鶩地、深深地愛(ài)著另外一個(gè)人的感覺(jué)。如果你真正愛(ài)上了,你也要愛(ài)得大度。我說(shuō)的大度,不是讓你把男朋友或者女朋友送給別人,而是在大學(xué)里面人才濟(jì)濟(jì),今天愛(ài)上你,明天有可能愛(ài)上了別人。有的時(shí)候愛(ài)情會(huì)出現(xiàn)比較特殊的現(xiàn)象,在大學(xué)的時(shí)候我們班就發(fā)生過(guò)這樣的事情,兩個(gè)男學(xué)生是哥們,其中有一個(gè)男生有一個(gè)女朋友,大家一起玩兒,結(jié)果玩著玩著另外那兩個(gè)人玩到一起去了,把這個(gè)男生擱到一邊了。大家知道,愛(ài)情最幸福的是兩個(gè)人同時(shí)相愛(ài)或者是兩個(gè)人同時(shí)不愛(ài)了。愛(ài)情最痛苦的是什么?你還深深地愛(ài)著對(duì)方,對(duì)方已經(jīng)不愛(ài)你了,而你愛(ài)對(duì)方的心怎么也放不下來(lái)。去年,某大學(xué)里有兩個(gè)人談戀愛(ài),后來(lái)這個(gè)女生不愛(ài)這個(gè)男生了,這個(gè)男生還深深?lèi)?ài)著這個(gè)女生。這個(gè)男生怎么也過(guò)不了這關(guān),最后男生跑到女生宿舍里,把女生從窗戶(hù)推下去,然后自己也跳下去了。這是一個(gè)悲慘的愛(ài)情故事,但是又是一個(gè)卑鄙的愛(ài)情故事。這個(gè)卑鄙在于這個(gè)男生的卑鄙,如果你真心愛(ài)著對(duì)方的話,就必須一路祝福他們,讓他們走好,而不是去傷害他們。所以,如果說(shuō)當(dāng)我發(fā)現(xiàn)這兩個(gè)人談了戀愛(ài)的話,那我一定祝福他們,讓他們一路走好吧,直到走到離婚為止。你不能說(shuō)把自己的生命跟別人的生命同時(shí)消滅掉,我們?cè)谧耐瑢W(xué),一定會(huì)碰到這樣的愛(ài)情和痛苦,也一定要用大度的方式去解決這種痛苦。

如果在大學(xué)里面沒(méi)人愛(ài)你怎么辦?也就是說(shuō),大學(xué)不一定每個(gè)人都要談戀愛(ài),也不一定每個(gè)人有機(jī)會(huì)談戀愛(ài)。就算你想談,但沒(méi)有任何人跟你談戀愛(ài)。我的第一次戀愛(ài)也是最后一次戀愛(ài),是我在大學(xué)畢業(yè)兩年以后25歲的時(shí)候,在北大的校園里找到我的女朋友,后來(lái)變成了我的老婆、我孩子的媽媽。也就是說(shuō),同學(xué)們記住了,即使是遲到的愛(ài)情,那也是真正的愛(ài)情。如果說(shuō)今天沒(méi)有愛(ài)情,你就等待。就像今天你沒(méi)有成功,你就等待。在等待中去尋找,在等待中去努力,在等待中去相信自己未來(lái)總有一天,你能夠走向成功,走向輝煌。今天咱們的題目就叫做“相信未來(lái)”?!跋嘈盼磥?lái)”是中國(guó)著名詩(shī)人食指寫(xiě)的一首詩(shī)。請(qǐng)同學(xué)們一定相信,不管今天你的環(huán)境如何,不管今天你身處何地,只要你心中真正有生命熱情,只要你相信你的未來(lái)總有一天會(huì)變得更加美好,只要你相信努力和奮斗的力量,你一定會(huì)有美好的未來(lái)。

古往今來(lái),人類(lèi)生生世世在編織著夢(mèng)想與希冀。遙望蒼穹,星空閃爍著訴說(shuō)著先人祈福的呢喃和虔誠(chéng)的禱告;那夢(mèng)想是如此真實(shí),又如此遙遠(yuǎn),因?yàn)槟鞘切闹胁粶绲淖非?,是浮于現(xiàn)實(shí)的繁華與幻想。

穴鳩的現(xiàn)實(shí)是“決起而飛,槍榆方而止”;溪流的現(xiàn)實(shí)是在石縫間淺吟低唱著“靡靡之音”;老馬的現(xiàn)實(shí)是“眼前飄過(guò)一陣鞭影,我只低頭瞧著腳下”。它們?cè)缫焉硐萦诂F(xiàn)實(shí)的泥潭而不能自拔,麻木的心靈早已放棄了擁有夢(mèng)想遙望天邊的權(quán)利。于是夢(mèng)想的翅膀飄然遠(yuǎn)去,現(xiàn)實(shí)的枷鎖架在脖項(xiàng)。

收回遐想的思緒,我才發(fā)現(xiàn)夢(mèng)想就是天邊的星辰,永不熄滅地照亮匆匆的人生;現(xiàn)實(shí)就是腳下的土地,踏實(shí)而厚重地記錄行路的足跡。人,既不能活于華而不實(shí)的夢(mèng)想里,也不要沉湎于現(xiàn)實(shí)的喧囂中。在人生的道路中,應(yīng)是左邊種植夢(mèng)想,右邊種植真實(shí),隨時(shí)采擷,收獲希望。

尋著古人的來(lái)路,我聽(tīng)到了杜工部“安得廣廈千萬(wàn)間,大庇天下寒士俱歡顏,風(fēng)雨不動(dòng)安如山”的呼喚,這是憂國(guó)憂民的吶喊,是杜甫心中最大的夢(mèng)想。收回目光,我聽(tīng)到了魯迅先生仰望星空的感嘆:“寄意寒星荃不察,我以我血薦軒轅”,“心事浩茫連廣宇,于無(wú)聲處聽(tīng)驚雷。”這是先生“用筆救國(guó)”的夢(mèng)想,他縱然對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)失望,但沒(méi)有絕望,彷徨中的吶喊喚起了國(guó)人的奮起和努力。

追溯著世界的旅途,我看到了麥哲倫環(huán)游世界的夢(mèng)想,他用廣闊的胸懷迎接波瀾壯闊的波濤,用夢(mèng)想書(shū)寫(xiě)著生命的厚重與責(zé)任??v使行程中的他遭到土著人的屠戮,現(xiàn)實(shí)的殘酷卻沒(méi)有將他的夢(mèng)想抹殺削弱。后人沿著他夢(mèng)想的軌跡,走向世界。收回目光,我看到了馬丁·路德金的夢(mèng)想,丑陋而頑固的現(xiàn)實(shí)一次又一次打擊著這位“追夢(mèng)者”,但他的夢(mèng)想凝集了所有黑人的正義和力量,現(xiàn)實(shí),終于因他的執(zhí)著而跪拜在這一偉大民族戰(zhàn)士的腳下。我又看到了徐本禹樸實(shí)無(wú)華的笑容,他沒(méi)有像自己的同學(xué)一樣追求花前月下香車(chē)寶馬,更沒(méi)有因現(xiàn)實(shí)的殘缺而逃遁,而是傾自己的夢(mèng)想于偏遠(yuǎn)支教之中。他們,都是現(xiàn)實(shí)中堅(jiān)強(qiáng)的追夢(mèng)者!

尋著古往今來(lái)的道路,我探頭仰望天邊的星空。夢(mèng)想與現(xiàn)實(shí)交軌在人的生命中,讓我們用胸懷天地的壯志凌云擁抱夢(mèng)想,用虛懷若谷的情懷書(shū)寫(xiě)現(xiàn)實(shí)中人生華美的篇章吧!

so my idea to reimagine the world is to see it one where we all become greater opportunity-makers with and for others.

在我心目中的理想世界 每個(gè)人都能為自己和別人創(chuàng)造機(jī)會(huì)

there’s no greater opportunity or call for action for us now

就是現(xiàn)在 我們必須把握良機(jī)、采取行動(dòng)

than to become opportunity-makers who use best talents together more often for the greater good

多去整合各種才能 盡可能的利益他人

and accomplish things we couldn’t have done on our own.

一人做不到的 多人或許有辦法

and i want to talk to you about that,

這就是我今天的重點(diǎn)

cause even more than giving,

比單純給予

even more than giving,

施舍、捐贈(zèng)更有影響力的

is the capacity for us to do something smarter together

就是人們學(xué)會(huì)集思廣益

for the greater good that lifts us both up

共同合作 創(chuàng)造雙贏局面

and that can scale.

其中的利益會(huì)一層層積累

that’s why i’m sitting here.

這是我今天演講的重點(diǎn)

but i also want to point something else out.

不過(guò)我還想說(shuō)一件事

each one of you is better than anybody else at something.

臺(tái)下的你必定在某些事上比其他人都拿手

that disproves that popular notion that if you’re the smartest person in the room,

和那句名言“你絕不是這里最厲害的人”

you’re in the wrong room.

恰恰相反

so let me tell you about a hollywood party i went to a couple years back,

我在幾年前的一個(gè)好萊塢聚會(huì)上

and i met this up-and-coming actress,

遇見(jiàn)了位有潛力的女演員

and we were soon talking about something that we both felt passionately about,

我們很快就找到共同話題-

public art.

and she had the fervent belief that every new building in los angeles

should have public art in it. she wanted a regulation for it,

and she fervently started,

what is here from chicago?

這里有誰(shuí)是芝加哥人嗎?

she fervently started talking about these bean-shaped reflective sculptures in millennium park,

and people would walk up to it

and they’d smile in the reflection of it,

and they’d pose and they’d vamp and they’d take selfies together

and they’d laugh.

and as she was talking, a thought came to my mind.

i said, “i know someone you ought to meet.

and he shares your fervent desire that art should engage and enable people to connect.”

he spent five years in solitary,

and i met him because i gave a speech at san quentin,

and he’s articulate

and he’s rather easy on the eyes

because he’s buff. he had workout regime he did everyday.

i think she was following me at that point.

i said, “he’d be an une_pected ally.”

and not just that. there’s james. he’s an architect

and he’s a professor,

and he loves place-making, and place-making is when you have those mini-plazas

and those urban walkways

and where they’re dotted with art,

where people draw and come up and talk sometimes.

i think they’d make good allies.

and indeed they were.

they met together. they prepared.

they spoke in front of the lost angeles city council.

and the council members not only passed the regulation,

half of them came down and asked to pose with them afterwards.

they were startling, compelling and credible.

you can’t buy that.

what i’m asking you to consider is what kind of opportunity-makers we might become,

希望各位想想自己能成為哪種機(jī)會(huì)制造者

because more than wealth

比財(cái)富、

or fancy titles

頭銜、

or a lot of contacts,

人脈更可觀的

it’s our capacity to connect around each other’s better side and bring it out.

是我們發(fā)掘他人優(yōu)點(diǎn)的能力

and i’m not saying this is easy,

這一點(diǎn)都不容易

and i’m sure many of you have made the wrong moves too about who you wanted to connect with,

相信許多人都有找錯(cuò)對(duì)象、牽錯(cuò)線的經(jīng)驗(yàn)

but what i want to suggest is, this is an opportunity.

但畢竟都是個(gè)“機(jī)會(huì)”

i started thinking about it way back when i was a wall street journal reporter and i was in europe

這個(gè)領(lǐng)悟要從好幾年前說(shuō)起 當(dāng)時(shí)我在歐洲 擔(dān)任華爾街日?qǐng)?bào)記者

and i was supposed to cover trends and trends that transcended business or politics or lifestyle.

采訪內(nèi)容為時(shí)尚與流行 跨越商業(yè)、政治、生活型態(tài)隔閡的流行

so i had to have contacts in different worlds very different than mine,

因此得和背景截然不同的人打交道

because otherwise you couldn’t spot the trends.

否則就無(wú)法掌握潮流走向

and third, i had to write a story in a way stepping into the reader’s shoes,

寫(xiě)故事時(shí) 還得設(shè)身處地為讀者想

they could see how these trends could affect their lives.

要讓他們覺(jué)得自己和這些潮流息息相關(guān)

that’s what opportunity-makers do.

這就是機(jī)會(huì)制造者的任務(wù)

and here’s a strange thing:

奇怪之處在于

unlike an increasing number of americans who are working and living and playing with people who think e_actly like them

越來(lái)越多人工作、生活、娛樂(lè)都喜歡尋找與自己相似的人

because we then become more rigid and e_treme,

久而久之就變得挑剔、極端起來(lái)

opportunity-makers are actively seeking situations with people unlike them,

機(jī)會(huì)制造者尋找與自己不相似的人

and they’re building relationships,

和他們建立關(guān)系

and because they do that,

這樣做的話

they have trusted relationships where they can bring the right team in

兩方之間就有互信 能在適當(dāng)?shù)臅r(shí)機(jī)介紹彼此適當(dāng)?shù)娜?/p>

and recruit them to solve a problem better and faster and seize more opportunities.

用更快、更好的方法解決問(wèn)題 同時(shí)也抓住了更多機(jī)會(huì)

they’re not affronted by differences.

機(jī)會(huì)創(chuàng)造者不會(huì)被歧異冒犯

they’re fascinated by them,

反而深受吸引

and that is a huge shift in mindset,

這是心態(tài)上的極端不同

and once you feel it, you want it to happen a lot more.

你一旦意識(shí)到 就會(huì)為它的魅力著迷

this world is calling out for us to have a collective mindset,

和別人形成“共同體”才是王道

and i believe in doing that.

我個(gè)人深信

it’s especially important now.

攜手合作在這世代特別重要

why is it important now?

為什么呢?

because things can be devised like drones

機(jī)器小幫手

and drugs and data collection,

藥物開(kāi)發(fā)、數(shù)據(jù)收集

and they can be devised by more people.

都可以讓更多人參與其中

and cheaper ways for beneficial purposes

用更經(jīng)濟(jì)的方式創(chuàng)造收益

and then, as we know from the news every day, they can be used for dangerous ones.

只是水能載舟 亦能復(fù)舟 也可能被有心人士利用

it calls on us, each of us, to a higher calling.

這個(gè)理念非常需要大家的重視

but here’s the icing on the cake:

成為機(jī)會(huì)制造者是一箭雙雕

it’s not just the first opportunity that you do with somebody else that’s probably your greatest,

除了獲得和更高竿對(duì)象合作的機(jī)會(huì)

as an institution or an individual.

無(wú)論對(duì)于機(jī)構(gòu)或個(gè)人來(lái)說(shuō)

it’s after you’ve had that e_perience and you trust each other.

都是開(kāi)啟了這扇門(mén) 建立信任后

it’s the une_pected things that you devise later on you never could have predicted.

for e_ample, marty is the husband of that actress i mentioned,

and he watched them when they were practicing,

and he was soon talking to wally, my friend the e_-con,

about that e_ercise regime.

and he thought, i have a set of racquetball courts.

that guy could teach it. a lot of people who work there are members at my courts.

they’re frequent travelers.

they could practice in their hotel room, no equipment provided.

that’s how wally got hired.

not only that, years later he was also teaching racquetball.

幾年后他也開(kāi)始教壁球?qū)W生

years after that, he was teaching the racquetball teachers.

再過(guò)了幾年則是教壁球老師

what i’m suggesting is, when you connect with people

我想說(shuō)的是 當(dāng)你把周遭有相同興趣、

around a shared interest and action,

喜好的人圈在一塊

you’re accustomed to serendipitous things happening into the future,

就會(huì)逐漸適應(yīng)隨之而來(lái)、意想不到的收獲

and i think that’s what we’re looking at.

我想這才是至關(guān)重要

we open ourselves up to those opportunities,

面對(duì)機(jī)會(huì) 我們敞開(kāi)心胸

and in this room are key players and technology,

關(guān)鍵推手-這里的你們 再加上科技

key players who are uniquely positioned to do this,

每個(gè)人各司其職 有自己的位置

to scale systems and projects together.

提升制度和計(jì)劃的整體價(jià)值

so here’s what i’m calling for you to do. remember the three traits of opportunity-makers.

opportunity-makers keep honing their top strength

一、機(jī)會(huì)制造者不斷磨練自己專(zhuān)長(zhǎng)

and they become pattern seekers.

開(kāi)拓事物運(yùn)作的新方式

they get involved in different worlds than their worlds

二、他們樂(lè)于接觸不同人的世界

so they’re trusted and they can see those patterns,

獲取信任 學(xué)習(xí)各種合作方式

and they communicate to connect around sweet spots of shared interest.

三、他們周旋于各方之間 讓參與的人都分一杯羹

so what i’m asking you is, the world is hungry.

我想說(shuō)的是 人與人之間太缺乏連結(jié)

i truly believe, in my firsthand e_perience,

根據(jù)親身經(jīng)驗(yàn) 我相信

the world is hungry for us to unite together as opportunity-makers

這世界很需要機(jī)會(huì)制造者

and to emulate those behaviors as so many of you already do, i know that firsthand,

可能臺(tái)下的你已經(jīng)是其中之一 大家都應(yīng)該效仿機(jī)會(huì)制造者

and to reimagine a world where we use our best talents together

重塑我們的世界 融合各領(lǐng)域人才

more often to accomplish greater thing together than we could on our own.

just remember,

how many of you are tired of seeingcelebrities adopting kids from the african continent?

你們之中有多少人已經(jīng)對(duì)那些從非洲領(lǐng)養(yǎng)小孩的明星而感到厭倦了?

well, it's not all that bad. i was adopted.i grew up in rural uganda, lost both my parents when i was very, very young.and when my parents passed, i e_perienced all the negative effects of poverty,from homelessness, eating out of trash piles, you name it.

嗯,那也不全是壞事。我就是被其中領(lǐng)養(yǎng)的一員。我在烏干達(dá)的郊區(qū)長(zhǎng)大,在我很小的時(shí)候,我的父母就去世了。在我父母離世之后,我經(jīng)歷了所有貧困帶來(lái)的困難,從無(wú)家可歸,到撿食路邊的垃圾,所有你能想得到的。

but my life changed when i got acceptedinto an orphanage. through one of those sponsor-an-orphan programs, i wassponsored and given an opportunity to acquire an education. i started off inuganda. i went through school, and the way this particular program worked, youfinished high school and after high school, you go learn a trade -- to become acarpenter, a mechanic or something along those lines.

i couldn't fall asleep. i kept feeling it.i had a good idea for security. i was like, 'ok, i'm going to put it in aplastic bag, and take it outside and dig a hole, and put it in there.' idid that, went back in the house. i could not fall asleep. i was like,'maybe someone saw me.' i went back --

i pulled it out, and i put it with me theentire night -- all to say that it was an an_iety-filled night.

going to the us was, just like anotherspeaker said, was my first time to see a plane, be on one, let alone sit on itto fly to another country. december 15, 20__. 7:08pm. i sat in seat 7a. flyemirates. one of the most gorgeous, beautiful women i've ever seen walked up,red little hat with a white veil. i'm looking terrified, i have no idea whati'm doing. she hands me this warm towel -- warm, steamy, snow white. i'mlooking at this warm towel; i don't know what to do with my life, let alonewith this damn towel --

來(lái)到美國(guó)的感受,和其他初來(lái)乍到的人一樣 那是我第一次坐飛機(jī),坐在座位上,飛向另一個(gè)國(guó)家。20__年12月15日 晚上7點(diǎn)08分 我坐在7a座位上。乘坐阿聯(lián)酋航班。一個(gè)我有生以來(lái)見(jiàn)過(guò)的最美的女人朝我走來(lái),她戴著紅色的帽子和白色的口罩。我真的嚇壞了,我簡(jiǎn)直手足無(wú)措。她遞給我一張溫?zé)岬募埥?溫暖,濕潤(rùn),白凈如雪。我盯著這張溫暖的紙巾; 我都不知道我該拿我的生活怎么辦,更別說(shuō)這張紙巾了

i did one of the -- you know, anythinganyone could do in that situation: look around, see what everyone else isdoing. i did the same. mind you, i drove about seven hours from my village tothe airport that day. so i grab this warm towel, wipe my face just likeeveryone else is doing, i look at it -- damn.

going to america opened doors for me tolive up to my full god-given potential. i remember when i arrived, the sponsorfamily embraced me, and they literally had to teach me everything from scratch:this is a microwave, that's a refrigerator -- things i'd never seen before. andit was also the first time i got immersed into a new and different culture.these strangers showed me true love. these strangers showed me that i mattered,that my dreams mattered.thank you.

these individuals had two of their ownbiological children. and when i came in, i had needs. they had to teach meenglish, teach me literally everything, which resulted in them spending a lotof time with me. and that created a little bit of jealousy with their children.so, if you're a parent in this room, and you have those teenager children whodon't want anything to do with your love and affection -- in fact, they find itrepulsive -- i got a solution: adopt a child.

i went on to acquire two engineeringdegrees from one of the best institutions in the world. i've got to tell you:talent is universal, but opportunities are not. and i credit this to theindividuals who embrace multiculturalism, love, empathy and compassion forothers. we live in a world filled with hate: building walls, bre_it, _enophobiahere on the african continent. multiculturalism can be an answer to many ofthese worst human qualities.

在一所世界一流學(xué)府中 我習(xí)得了兩個(gè)工程師學(xué)位。我必須要說(shuō): 天賦人人都有,但機(jī)會(huì)一緣難求。我想要贊美 那些擁抱多元文化的人,那些關(guān)愛(ài),理解并且同情他人的人。我們生活在一個(gè)充滿(mǎn)憎恨的世界上:高筑圍墻,英國(guó)脫歐,非洲大陸的仇外心理。而這些人類(lèi)最負(fù)面的東西 都可以被多元文化海涵。

today, i challenge you to help a youngchild e_perience multiculturalism. i guarantee you that will enrich their life,and in turn, it will enrich yours. and as a bonus, one of them may even give ated talk.

we may not be able to solve the bigotry andthe racism of this world today, but certainly we can raise children to create apositive, inclusive, connected world full of empathy, love and compassion.
