good afternoon， everyone。 it’s my great honor to stand here and give you a short speech。 my topic is “never give up”。 now let’s begin。
have you seen a film named titanic， i believe no one will shake head。 it’s a film about how the ship titanic sank into the sea in that time。 it is very e_citing。 but i am quite interested in the story of the film， jack and rose’s story。 i can learn some deeper things from it。
after the ship hit an iceberg and sank into the sea。 jack and rose and other people fell into the cold sea water。 as the weather was getting colder and colder， they were gradually stepping into death。 jack asked rose to promise him not to give up the hope of life。 at last， jack was dead， and rose had a narrow escape， because she listened to jack and didn’t give up。

dont give up working for your goal or your dream。 if you succeed， you will taste great joy in your life。 if you dont succeed， you wont have regret in your life because you have given your best。
dreams are hard to follow， hold on and there will be tomorrow。 you will find the way with the strength to carry on。 don’t give up。

孩子從初中到高中是他人生路上的一個(gè)跨越，高二階段是高中的一個(gè)重要階段。作為教師，我們深深知道，那每一張燦爛可愛的笑臉都承載著在座各位家長的殷切希望和美好憧憬;作為教師，我們一直在探索，如何盡己所能，使干巴巴的課堂教學(xué)變得生動(dòng)活潑，使平平淡淡的“白開水”變成香甜可口的“咖啡”與“奶茶”，讓孩子樂意學(xué)習(xí)，感受到學(xué)習(xí)的多彩，激起探索的欲望，享受成功的喜悅。我們也一直在思考，如何使我們的家長也能走進(jìn)新課程，了解當(dāng)前教育改革的動(dòng)向，成為學(xué)校教學(xué)的加油站。我們愿意借今天的家長會(huì)，就學(xué)校的管理、近期的工作和學(xué)生的狀況、面臨的任務(wù)與大家進(jìn)行交流，和大家一同探討孩子的學(xué)習(xí)和生活上碰到的一些問題，駕設(shè)起學(xué)校與家庭協(xié)同教育的橋梁。

作為高二的學(xué)生，本學(xué)期非同尋常，擔(dān)負(fù)著異常艱巨的重任。江蘇省自__年進(jìn)入新課程，本屆學(xué)生將在__年參加高考，這是新高考方案實(shí)行的第四年。高考的統(tǒng)考科目是語文、數(shù)學(xué)、外語三門學(xué)科，語文160分，數(shù)學(xué)160分，外語120分，三門總分440分。另外，選修測試歷史的考生加試語文附加題，選修測試物理的考生加試數(shù)學(xué)附加題，附加題的分值都是40分，這樣，高考總分為480分。高考錄取分?jǐn)?shù)線就看語文、數(shù)學(xué)和外語的總分。為此，我們語文、數(shù)學(xué)和外語三門學(xué)科的老師從內(nèi)容到作業(yè)、考試，都滲透高考的要求。而對我們的孩子來說，緊抓語數(shù)外，養(yǎng)成積極的學(xué)習(xí)興趣和科學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣，就意味著高考成功了一半，所以，抓好高二第一學(xué)期的工作，意義極為深遠(yuǎn)。
