第1篇 關(guān)于奧運(yùn)會的英語演講稿范文
green-colored sunshine shining though soft leaves, all the green days in the growth rings’ telling legend to the future and the past. these green hopes in the olympic rings are just like warm hugs and brilliant haloes under the blue sky of beijing. as the 29th olympic game which is held in beijing is coming up soon, every citizen in our city is a messenger of green olympic, we love our city and care more and more about our environment. in those lovely smiling face, i’m touched deeply for all the efforts we make. i can see the grassland is greener; the blue sky is beautiful and clean, and every little tree is growing happily in warm and gentle breeze. this is my hometown, this is beautiful beijing, and there place the green olympic hopes on.
thinking about a few years ago, when i saw the ta_onomic dustbin in our community for the first time, the green olympic made no difference in my mind. i just regarded it as an interesting way to sort garbage. but when a few days later i raised my hands high up and was eager to be a member of 'the communist youth league’s epd group', i told myself firmly, 'it’s a great way to make contribution to the 2008’s beijing.' maybe this is why i have that much passion on this great action. in the following months, we have activities such as picking up all the plastic things which are surrounded our school together with our teacher. we were all very e_cited about this meaningful thing. we also set up special dustbins for used batteries, so that we can both pollute less and recycle more. when seeing all the plastics and the batteries were carried on the truck which was going to the recycle factory to handle these things, we were all very happy about it. everyone forgot all the hardness. to let the dream of' green beijing' come true, all of us should give a hand. 'i’ve do something great for you beijing,' what a great sentence!
and at the same time, the actions of protecting the environment are going on, too. my father changed all the taps in my family into saving-water ones, and all the water we use are recycled for at least 2 or 3 times. i always can hear this ad on cri, it says, '5 million children died each year, just for the drinking water.' so, help us to make the world safer. although my actions are rather small, but i think with all of you guys help, there will be a strong power.
the color green gives the olympic game a deeper meaning, green is in flowers, grasslands and in trees; green is in the sky, in the earth and in the sunshine. but to my opinion, green’s also in our minds, in our smiles and in the great love.
once in an activity which was to plant trees for the community, every planter got a card to hang out on the tree with writing a few meaningful words. do you know i have written what? that is:
'happy growing!'
'happy growing!' to every little tree in our green dreams.
'happy growing!' to the changing beijing!
'happy growing!' to the green olympics bud in every citizen’s heart! it’ll turn out sweet 3 years later in 2008!
燦爛未來 綠色希望
清晨綠色的陽光透過溫柔的葉子灑向大地，年輪中曾經(jīng)青澀的時光向未來講述著美麗的傳說，奧運(yùn)五環(huán)中的綠色像溫暖的擁抱明亮的光環(huán)籠罩在北京蔚藍(lán)的天空下。隨著第29屆奧運(yùn)會的臨近，我們北京的每一個市民都像是綠色奧運(yùn)使者一樣，越來越熱愛我們的北京，越來越關(guān)心周圍的環(huán)境。我們因自己是北京人，可以向每一個外國友人展示北京的風(fēng)采而感到驕傲。而這樣一次又一次的感動中，我看到草地更綠了，藍(lán)天清澈了，一棵棵的小樹苗在溫柔的微風(fēng)中茁壯成長。這是我的家，這是美麗的北京，這里寄托這綠色的奧運(yùn)希望。
回想幾年以前，我第一次在社區(qū)的路旁看到分類垃圾箱的時候，綠色奧運(yùn)在我的大腦中還沒有任何概念，只是覺得這樣把垃圾分類是很新鮮的事。但是當(dāng)我在不久后的班會上把手高高的舉起來希望自己也可以加入'共青團(tuán)epd社團(tuán)'的時候，心里已經(jīng)堅信，'用自己的力量為2008年的北京做出貢獻(xiàn)，這真是太偉大'了。也許這就是我和綠色奧運(yùn)行動最開始的結(jié)緣吧。在隨后的幾個月中，校團(tuán)委帶領(lǐng)包括我們支部在內(nèi)的20余名同學(xué)一起到學(xué)校周邊的路旁撿拾白色垃圾，這對于我們來說是一次意義重大的活動。我們還在學(xué)校門口設(shè)立了回收舊電池的垃圾筒，來盡可能減少環(huán)境的污染并同時節(jié)約資源。當(dāng)看到一袋袋白色垃圾和舊電池被搬到送往回收站的卡車上時，我們忘記了之前的一切辛苦，因為汗水換來了快樂，和，付出的喜悅。綠色北京的實現(xiàn)需要我們每一個人去努力，'綠色奧運(yùn)，有我一個'，多么驕傲的一句話啊。
同時，環(huán)境保護(hù)的行動在我家也在進(jìn)行著。爸爸把家里所有的水龍頭都換成了節(jié)水型的水龍頭，而且所有的生活用水都至少被循環(huán)了兩到三次。我經(jīng)常會在中國國際廣播電臺聽到這樣的一則公益廣告：'每年因缺水而死亡的兒童有500萬之多'，身為同樣生活在地球上的人類，我想我的行動雖然是微不足道的，但是如果大家都投身于節(jié)約用水和綠色環(huán)保的行動中來，那么我們的力量將是不可估量的。
綠色為奧運(yùn)會的舉辦賦予了更深廣的含義，綠色是花，是草，是樹；綠色是天，是地，是陽光；可是在我心里，綠色更是心，是笑，是愛。
在社區(qū)舉辦的每一次植樹活動中，每個植樹者都會自己制作一個小牌子并寫上自己對未來的希望，在和爸爸媽媽一個上午的努力過后，我在牌子上寫到：
'成長快樂！'
成長快樂！每一棵為了讓我們環(huán)境更美麗的小樹！
成長快樂！正在飛速變化著的綠色北京！
成長快樂！綠色奧運(yùn)在市民心中的芽！他終將在3年后結(jié)出美麗的果實！

第2篇 奧運(yùn)會的英語演講稿
從幾年前北京著手申辦2008年北京奧運(yùn)會開始，2008年北京奧運(yùn)會這個話題就一直備受關(guān)注。目前關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)已從申辦之初許下的諾言轉(zhuǎn)移到如何真正履行諾言。在我看來，要跨越諾言與現(xiàn)實之間的鴻溝，北京還有很長一段路要走。
the 2008 olympic game has been the most discussed and
anticipated event through out
beijing ever since beijing bid for it years ago. yet the
focus has shifted from making a
promise to making good a promise after beijing’s
successful bid. in my opinion, to
bridge the gap between a promise and reality, beijing
still has a long way to go. here
are some of my ideas on how to fill that gap.
首先，在所有亟待解決的問題中，跨越英語口語這一難關(guān)至關(guān)重要。學(xué)會一門語言的關(guān)鍵在于堅持不懈。我們到能不能做到讓大多數(shù)國人在2008年到來之前都學(xué)會說英語？這一問題需要我們不斷努力和嘗試。
first, the speaking of english is far most important than
all other difficulties. learning
a language takes a long time and a lot of heart ship, it’
s not easy. so can we get
most of chinese to speak english before 2008?
it needs us to try and practice very hard.
其次，交通擁擠一直是困擾北京的老大難問題。一輛接一輛車連在一起構(gòu)成的汽車長龍加之它們不斷排放到空氣中的黑煙這種情景早就給我們留下了深刻的印象。我相信沒有一個國人愿意把北京的這一面暴露給來自世界各地的參賽隊員和新聞記者，因為它會嚴(yán)重?fù)p壞北京的形象和聲譽(yù)。所以，我們必須致力于建設(shè)綠色奧運(yùn)這一目標(biāo)。
second, traffic jams have been an age-old headache
in beijing, the scenes of
long queues of vehicles worming their way inch
by inch while discharging dark fumes into the air
had given all of us a really
bad impression, and i know that none of us wish
to show off that side of
beijing to athletes and journalists over the world,
it would blemish the city’s image and leave a
bad reputation. so we have to work real hard
on green olympics.
還有，為了各項工作的順利實施，一個高瞻遠(yuǎn)矚的整體城市規(guī)劃必不可少。如果時間允許，重新設(shè)計和調(diào)整北京的建筑風(fēng)格會為構(gòu)建北京的城市特色創(chuàng)造環(huán)境。把東方的精致和西方的宏偉結(jié)合在一起一定會在眾多建筑風(fēng)格中獨(dú)樹一幟。要做到以上幾點(diǎn)，北京應(yīng)該聽取得來自一流建筑師的建議并作出整體規(guī)劃。
thirdly, to add enchantment to convenience, an
over-all city planning is
indispensable. if time permits, a redesign of city
layout and
adjustment of architectural style would provide a
better environment for
fostering the characteristics, blending oriental
elegance with international
grandeur, will tower a lot among surrounding
architectures. to achieve
such effects, beijing shall solicit opinions from
first-rate architects and
make an overall plan.
盡管如此，要實現(xiàn)全世界對北京的期盼，北京還有許許多多工作要做。但我們有信心在2008年到來之前把北京建設(shè)成為一個全新的城市。巨大的變化每天都在這個城市發(fā)生，相信在不遠(yuǎn)的將來，北京將會成為全世界關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)。世界相信北京，這也是北京申奧成功的原因。我們一定會抓住這次機(jī)遇并為之全力以赴。今天，我們還沒有做好準(zhǔn)備，但在2008年到來之前我們一定會準(zhǔn)備好！
even though, beijing still has a lot to do to reach
the level that the world e_pects,
but we have the confidence to make beijing a
brand new city by the year 2008.
huge changes are taking places, and not far in
the future, beijing will be the focus
of all worlds’ attention. the world trusts
beijing and that’s why beijing won the bid.
we will grasp this opportunity and do our best.
we are not yet ready but we will be by the
year 2008.
