water is the source of life

earth looks like a big blue marble; from high above the earth and from the moon, the planet gleams and shines. the blue water in the oceans and seas of the earth makes a dramatic image.water is the source of this beauty and the source of life on earth. it is the reason people can live on this planet. water is everywhere. water is in rock deep under the ground, in natural holding areas.in a real sense, water keeps earth alive. the last drop of water will be the world's human tears. we chinese are one of the 12 water-poor countries, as people waste, water less and less. however, there are many waste of water, for e_ample: some of the children bought water gun filled with water shooting water everywhere; there are some students hand-washing after washing bowls, or not turn off the faucet, waste a lot of water... .... yunnan-guizhou plateau, where the recent prolonged drought, making survival of the population there is facing a serious threat to address this problem, we in china 1.3 billion to develop awareness of water conservation. therefore, i appeal to you here: 'take action at water saving

地球看上去就像一個(gè)巨大的藍(lán)色玻璃球, 從高高的地球上空或從月球上望去,這顆行星熠熠生輝,閃閃發(fā)光。

地球上大洋大海里的蔚藍(lán)色的水構(gòu)成了一幅激動(dòng)人心的圖畫。 水是地球上的美麗之源、生命之源。 水是人們能在這顆行星上生存的根本。 到處都有水。

水深藏于地底下的巖層里、在天然蓄水區(qū)里. 從真正的意思上說(shuō),是水維持著地球的生命。

世界的最后一滴水將是人類的眼淚。我們中國(guó)是12個(gè)貧水國(guó)之一,由于人們的浪費(fèi),水源越來(lái)越少了。

但是生活中還有許多浪費(fèi)水的現(xiàn)象,比如;有些小朋友買來(lái)水槍到處射水,還有一些學(xué)生洗完碗或洗完手,都不關(guān)水龍頭,浪費(fèi)了許多水……最近云南貴州高原那里長(zhǎng)時(shí)間持續(xù)干旱,使那里居民生存面臨著嚴(yán)重威脅,針對(duì)這個(gè)問(wèn)題,我們中國(guó)13億要養(yǎng)成節(jié)約用水的意識(shí)。 因此,我現(xiàn)在向大家呼吁:珍惜每一滴水,讓地球媽媽不再哭泣。

we live in the world every day. we eat food, drink water, wear clothes, watch tv, use computers and so on. we are producing waste every moment.

generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. they are material waste, organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. now, we are going to talk about each sort of waste one by one.

material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from which something else can be made. for e_ample, people throw away the used metal products and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. at last, they become waste. for e_ample, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. when the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. once it is broken, it becomes waste. the rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. people use plastic bags because they are convenient. when they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. the more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. this is called “white pollution” as most plastics are white. some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. it’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. however, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long time and becomes old. the old tyres become waste because it can’t break down by nature. this is really a big problem.

we all know tagore.this famous indian poet once said, “life is given to us, and we earn it by giving it.” as the saying goes, nature is given to us, and we earn it by contributing to it. however, most people nowadays just want to ask for more from the nature. in fact, they do very little contribution to the nature. therefore, the environment around us is becoming worse and worse.

do you often use batteries? then do you know it takes 50 times more energy to make them than they produce? and just one simple battery can pollute as much water as a person can drink in his whole life. the facts and figures are amazing. so would you please try to use batteries only when it is necessary? if possible, give the used ones to the recycling companies so that they will be made into new ones and won’t be able to pollute the environment any more. sometimes we become complacent when it comes to recycling, but when you speak in terms of actual facts and figures that everybody can understand, people become much clearer about the problem.

we, as school students, can also join in recycling activities to protect the environment. for e_ample, our class set up a recycling center beside the back door, it is very useful. it is used to collect the waste paper and plastic bottles. in the past, our classmates used to throw all of these into the trashcan. at the very beginning of this collecting activity, it was not so warm-welcomed. later, more and more people were influenced by the others and joined this collecting activity. gradually, all the students in our class form a good habit to protect the environment. all of us will now put away the reusable things instead of throwing them into the trashcan.

we should always remember in our mind that protecting the environment is our duty that we can never neglect. finally would you please let me end this speech with a little poem, “be kind to the river. be good to the trees. smile at the sunshine, and bow to the breeze. be friendly to nature, and nature will be friendly to you!”

老師們、同學(xué)們:

大家早上好!我今天演講的題目是《環(huán)境教育從凈化校園做起》。 我國(guó)一位著名的學(xué)者在歐洲一個(gè)海濱公園的草坪邊的椅子上休息時(shí),看見(jiàn)旁邊長(zhǎng)椅上一個(gè)四五歲的小女孩,走到十多米以外的一個(gè)垃圾桶,把一張巧克力的包裝紙扔了進(jìn)去,又高高興興地走回來(lái)。那位學(xué)者問(wèn)小女孩:“你怎么走那么遠(yuǎn)去扔一張紙呢?”女孩認(rèn)真地說(shuō):“這草地那么美,要是我把廢紙扔在上面,它就不美了。”聽(tīng)了這個(gè)故事,相信同學(xué)們都知道了,保護(hù)環(huán)境,應(yīng)該從身邊小事做起。

可是,我們不時(shí)也能看到這樣一些不和諧的畫面:經(jīng)常有同學(xué)拿著零食邊走邊吃,然后將垃圾袋隨手亂扔;在課間,經(jīng)常會(huì)在某一個(gè)樓道上看到大大小小的紙屑,這些都是極不文明的舉動(dòng)。

同學(xué)們,你們是二十一世紀(jì)的主人,具有環(huán)境意識(shí)是現(xiàn)代人的標(biāo)志。你們?cè)诒Wo(hù)環(huán)境時(shí),應(yīng)著眼身邊,從凈化校園做起。當(dāng)你正想隨手扔出瓜皮果殼的時(shí)候,請(qǐng)你多走幾步路,把它放入垃圾桶;當(dāng)你走路看見(jiàn)地上飄著紙片的時(shí)候,請(qǐng)你彎彎腰,將它撿起來(lái);當(dāng)你正想隨地吐痰時(shí),請(qǐng)你想一想他人的健康,用紙將痰包起扔掉;當(dāng)你倒垃圾,垃圾從垃圾桶里掉出來(lái)的時(shí)候,請(qǐng)你停一停腳步,將垃圾撿起來(lái)??“勿以善小而不為”,一件好事可以看出一個(gè)人高尚純潔的心靈。

今天我要演講的題目是保護(hù)環(huán)境。

保護(hù)環(huán)境是每個(gè)人的責(zé)任,社會(huì)無(wú)論如何發(fā)展,人類都得承認(rèn)一件事實(shí),那就是大自然是人類的母親,我們呼吸一口空氣,喝的每一滴水,都離不開自然。人類賴以生存的星球只有地球。

可是,人類像一個(gè)貪婪的孩子,只顧索要,不管回報(bào),以至于現(xiàn)在的環(huán)境傷痕累累,場(chǎng)次以來(lái),受傷的必將是我們?nèi)祟愖约骸?/p>

瞧!如果不保護(hù)環(huán)境,大自然母親也將會(huì)發(fā)怒,比如20__年的5。12大地震,日本大地震,泥石流災(zāi)害等,在這過(guò)程中,有多少人失去的親人,失去了無(wú)法估量的財(cái)產(chǎn),這不是大自然對(duì)人類的懲罰嗎?

我們身邊觸目驚心的事例歷歷在目,如;路邊的小樹被折,小草被踐踏,小花被采摘,難道他們不痛,不傷心嗎?亂砍濫伐,無(wú)節(jié)制的開采礦產(chǎn)資源。人們就是這樣,無(wú)所事事的破壞生態(tài)平衡。作為小學(xué)生,我們應(yīng)該從身邊做起,從小事做起;保護(hù)花草樹木,不亂丟垃圾,不使用一次性筷子,盡自己一份微薄之力。

在此我呼吁大家;請(qǐng)保護(hù)環(huán)境,只有這樣才是最終保護(hù)了人類自己!因?yàn)榈厍蛑挥幸粋€(gè),人類不能克隆。
